Season 5, here we go! We almost can't believe it's finally here, since when first we started watching this series, there were already 3 whole seasons and the fourth one came out while we were watching the third. So this was the first time we actually had to wait for new episodes! But damn, it's good to be back! And this was very much a "welcome back" episode, where we got an update on what has been going on since last time. We can't wait to watch the rest of this season, which is, from what we've been told, going to be the best one yet, at least if it follows the books. We'll see! How about you all? Are you excited? And have you already watched the first three episodes? No spoilers, of course 😅

I’m very much looking forward to Amos’ backstory. I relate to Amos for a lot of reasons, not least of which is agreeing that Avasarala is an absolute smoke show! ps I have a feeling the avengers will assemble before too long

2020-12-20 21:19:35 +0000 UTCOh and not only was Holden drinking his coffee looking at the screen, he was watching the Chetzemoka with Naomi aboard leaving Tycho station, so, yeah, he is really alone! Kat is right to point that out because each one of our Roci family have unfinished business in the world outside the Roci that has to be tended to as we all do when we really think about it. Interesting how it has become a theme for this year (completely unintended!!)

Also there is a quick shot in the opening of the water levels changing on earth and changing the coast lines. I am so happy to have you back!! This is going to be an epic season and exactly what we have needed with all of the terrible things happening in our world. Really enjoyed this! There is an after show with Ty Frank and Wes Chatham and Naren talks about how they framed the scene on the Songbird to show how Amos was going through something emotional rather than just the raw violence of beating up the kids shaking down the passengers. Its well worth the time to watch the after show podcasts after each episode!

Also the memorial of that ship that Amos walks past on Luna is the ship that Naomi talked to Lucia about in season 4. Marco used her code and blew up the ship.
