side all of us is a hidden self–the animal side, the creature side, the part of us that in civilized society we try to hide. However, hiding oneself isn’t always healthy. Sometimes repressing our instincts are just as troublesome as giving them free rein. Sometimes it’s necessary to become beast.
What if there was a world of beasts where you could give your animal side a chance to breathe. A safe place ruled by a kind and noble king of beasts lies hidden deep within your subconscious. Could you imagine going there and becoming a beast? What would you look like if you were to see yourself as a beast?

The word “beast” conjures up many gritty, sometimes sensual feelings. Sometimes we forget that we are animals as well. This short 15-minute guided imagery exercise will help you to get you to reconnect with your beast side and heal the connections deep within. Perhaps the daily disconnect of modern human living is part of the reason people seem to treat their bodies so poorly. We forget about the mind-body connection and treat our bodies as mere vehicles, which usually damages the spirit in the long run.
Perhaps it’s time to really focus on your own thoughts and feelings. Many people are unaware of the rush of adrenaline that comes from their daily worries that over time puts stress on the body and can lead to serious health issues. Many people eat not because they are hungry but because they want to feel better. Sometimes we stay up way to late just to watch something we know we would enjoy better when we’re well-rested. All these are examples of how we mistreat our inner beasts.

Let’s begin by focusing on the breath and only the breath just allowing any thought to flow out of your mind as if you were breathing it out.
Focus on the sensation of the air brushing against the tongue and roof of your mouth.
Focus on the sensation of the pressure in your lungs.
When you inhale mentally say the word “INHALE.”
When you exhale mentally say the word “EXHALE.”
Your mind may start to drift to unrelated things to things you may need to do an itch you may want to scratch or something seemingly non sequitur.
Bring your focus right back to your breathing mentally saying to yourself “INHALE” and “EXHALE.” And just continue this process throughout this recording.
And as you continue to consciously focus on your breathing then your subconscious can begin to relax because your conscious mind continues to focus on the words “INHALE” and “EXHALE.”
And since your conscious mind is focusing on your breathing. That means I can talk directly to your unconscious mind. And it’s a good thing sometimes to listen to stories
because stories shape how we view the world, how we feel about ourselves and all the things we do.
There are many things that people can learn while listening to stories like meditation for example as they focus on their breathing and the words “INHALE” and “EXHALE.”
Stories can give a voice to the unrecognized feelings, the unfulfilled desires, and the invisible tethers in our minds.
Every story is a form of hypnosis that works directly on the subconscious.
I once knew a man that loved to travel. He used to tell me stories. Exploring interesting places, and doing all the things he thought he’d never do.
He told me of ways of traveling that I had never heard of.
“Ways of going deeper inside” he said with a smile. What would it be like, I wonder to travel deeper inside?
He told me of an ancient dirt road built by possibly druids or some prehistoric society.
On the side of the road were stone markers worn down by wind and rain.
They led to the entrance of the forest kingdom of a wild but kind king known as a beastlord of noble instinct and divine animal.
“It’s important to follow only the very good kings” he said.
“They are the ones that heal broken hearts, that expand minds,that help you grow to spread love.”
The markers along the road lead down to the edge of the beastlord’s domain.
Counting down the markers one by one we go going deeper and deeper inside down the mountain road until we reach the kingdom
of the beastlord.

As you travel naked through the beastlord’s domain perhaps you fly over the treetops or run on all fours feeling the soft soil between your toes or swim up the cool waters of the deep river.
In this kingdom all waters are healing waters.
As you come across a large still pond you can lean over the side and then you see yourself from head to tail.
Just take a moment to look at your inner beast.
This new prospective brings you new insights, and new understandings.
There is plenty of food and good company.
Even though there may be beasts much larger than you as a guest in this kingdom you are safe.
Sooner or later you come to a great stone palace built into a mountain with trees waterfalls and hot springs.
You are greeted in the way that beasts are by two massive beasts with thick muscles and flowing hair.
They bathe you in the springs and prepare you for an audiencewith the king.
Soon they guide you to the hall of the beast lord, a great dome carved out of rock and illuminated splendidly.
In the throne sits the king.
Sometimes he appears as a celestial dragon, a big cat, a bull, a masculine colossus ora combination of all.
He greets you warmly in a deep rumbling voice and tells you he will bless you with a special sigil that will strengthen and heal the beast inside you days after day until all that remains is good.
If you accept he digs his finger into a pot of fragrant oil and makes a mark on one of your chakras.
The oil seems to glow faintly before the mark seeps deep under your skin to the place where it can do the most good.
The Beastlord thanks you for making this journey and hopes that he will see you again one day.
It is time to return to the human world like my friend the traveler did as well.
You are escorted to the edge of the kingdom and slowly return to human but still feeling The Beastlord’s gift deep within you, healing you reconnecting the man and the beast.
In a few moments I will count upwards from zero to five bringing you up and out of the state of hypnosis feeling refreshed as if you’ve just awakened from a long nap.
