I've Been Reincarnated As A Summoned Beast: Chapter 10

Kyomi

After following my instincts, I somehow became emotionally connected to the domineering fox that saved me. It was just something I felt at the time was to lick his face in a show of gratitude. Who would have known that would unlock something inside me that made me much stronger and also gave me a lifelong partner?

Even though I was pushed away occasionally since I met Zero, he keeps relenting and doing it much less. I can feel his heart opening up to me. It’s something I crave from being beaten and neglected by that horrible man.

Watching Zero devour him was one of the best moments of my life, and I will always remember what he did for me. Now my life is his, and I will follow him till the end of time.

Before all this craziness, I had one of my best nights. I couldn’t help but get closer to Zero and bury myself into him. He just gives me this sense of security I’ve never felt. When I was wrapped up in his tails, it was as if I was sleeping on clouds.

Now with the powers and bond we have between each other, he even prepares a feast for me to enjoy.

‘Munch, munch, munch’ was all I could think as I ravaged through my meal, carving and biting anything in my way. The screaming and terror I felt only brought me joy as I started covering myself in their blood. It was as if a switch was flipped within me as soon as I started seeing red, and I couldn’t stop until I had silenced everyone.

The aura of absolute zero along with the pressure my new mate was releasing upon all this food was mind-breaking. I’ve never felt so free, so alive, so in control of myself, even though on the outside I seemed like a raging bull in a china shop.

I noticed the two being shielded by Zero’s aura. One of them being my rival, but thankfully she’s too stupid to accept Zero and will hopefully be thrown aside. Holding on to her humanity is overrated when you can become a perfect being such as Zero and now me!

My insides seem to be growing as I kill, as if I’m devouring my victims whole. I even gained two more tails, getting me even closer to the one I now belong to. The more I experience those individual spirits, the closer I feel to becoming whole, as if something amazing awaits me at the end.

I’ve also noticed that my ability to evade has increased tenfold, along with a new ability to self-heal as soon as I’m wounded. All of my previous injuries were erased as soon as I bonded with Zero.

If only I met him much sooner… But now it doesn’t matter because I won’t leave him alone.

Looking at the once enormous beasts that were dwarfing me from earlier, I now see them eye to eye as my size continues to grow. Nothing like how huge Zero was earlier.

I need to make sure to impress him and kill them all before he comes back out of his barrier and prove who the superior one is between me and her.

In a way this is almost unsatisfying, but I understand he wants me to get stronger so we can kill many more in the future. I couldn’t help myself but grin wickedly as I snarled at my next target, ripping out his throat.

The icy aura around me seems to grow even harsher as my new tails bloom. Those that were still aware of their surroundings would be overcome with weakness as soon as I made my move to end their pathetic lives. A deep hate for humans blossomed under that man's care.

This moment created a great relief to take out all of my frustrations on that weak race and those beasts who serve them. If only Zero would come back out so I can be close to him once again and get in between him and that girl.

An icy, crystal-like aura enveloped my hand, encasing my fingers in a sharp, claw-like form. I swung it vertical upon that huge beast in front of me, cleaving his head right off and sending it in a particular direction.

My first thought was Oops, but to my excitement, the barrier Zero set up didn’t falter in the slightest. Of course, because he’s the one I follow, he should be this strong. The enthusiasm I’ve felt throughout this encounter heightened as I once again went on a rampage, striking anything that still breathes with no qualms about any of their pleading for their pathetic lives.

After another ten minutes passed and I realized no other enemies were left alive, I went and sat at the barrier Zero erected earlier. Taking a look over at the other woman, whom I wasn’t familiar with, I started trying to figure out who she was. She must be her mother, having similar features.

With those kinds of thoughts, I saw Euphy come out with a smile on her face while carrying Zero in her arms. It looked like she had finally accepted him, holding his body close to her chest as he licked her face. I saw the power Zero and I both held start to grow inside her body, confirming my suspicions.

I couldn’t help myself but say, ‘me too!’ Both of them stared at me, but I didn’t care, repeating the words once again as I tried to jump up at Zero.

Zero

Looking at Kyomi jumping up and down saying, “Me too,” brought a smirk to my face. I refuse to be one of those idiotic MCs who refuse to realize what one of the girls who follows him wants. Also, could she talk now?

Her look was pleading, with a mix of wanting my approval and affection. I looked up at Euphy’s face, which looked at Kyomi weirdly as if she also understood something.

“Can you understand her, Euphy?” I asked curiously.

“Yes, I can hear her, and I can also feel Kyomi's intentions very vividly, much different from before.”

‘Yes, that’s because you’ve finally accepted your situation and given into it, making the right decision, I assure you.’ Giving one last lick to Euphy’s face, where I got a little lip action, I jump down in front of Kyomi, who tackles me instantly.

Of course I could dodge her, but I would never do that to one of my girls who’s looking for affection. She licked me all over as she pinned me down, giving her free rein on my face.

Without warning, Kyomi grew to the size of a short bus, proving that her four tails weren’t just for show; her tongue was even bigger than before as she groomed my body. Is this some kind of power play she’s trying to pull because I’m in my huggable form?

The bestial nature within me couldn’t approve of this kind of situation, so I grew to an even bigger size and pinned her to the ground. While looking down at her cute little fluffy face and her soft ears that twitched, I grinned, being in the dominant position. It didn’t stop her from flicking her tongue out trying to reach me.

‘Calm down, Kyomi, I’m the dominant one in this relationship.’ At my words she became more dismissive as she stopped all movement as if waiting for something.

I grabbed her in my tails as I have before and looked over at Euphy, who was giving me a knowing smile for some reason. ‘Get on; I will take you back to your place.’

“Hey! You’re not going to leave without me.” A voice rang out as we turned in that direction. It was Euphy’s mother who had been watching the scene; I guess not wanting to impose on our moment.

Euphy instantly broke away from us and hugged her mother, who opened her arms wide to receive her. They both cried as I dangled Kyomi in front of me from a tail with a grin on my face as she kept making interesting noises.

Giving them space, I decided to enjoy my time with my new favorite girl, who was quite fun to mess around with. Now having four tails, let’s test her out to see how she fights. Tossing her a good ten feet into the distance, she lands on her feet as if no problem.

She darted in my direction without any urging from me as I quickly side-stepped her actions as she flew right past. Before she got out of range, I grabbed her with my tail and threw her back to her beginning spot.

‘Try again!’ I said in an encouraging tone to Kyomi.

Since she would be the one I could rely on in the future, training her is a must with my twenty years of experience defending myself from the most dangerous beasts she could only imagine.

‘I will get you!’ Kyomi said in a playful tone,"

Looking at her disheveled appearance with all that blood still all over her, I couldn’t help but want to throw her in a lake to get her clean. But that would be saved for later once we get back to Euphy’s home.

For the next fifteen minutes I never moved from my spot and only used my tails to defend myself. Something I picked up over my decades of combat was how efficient having multiple tails is in a fight.

As we playfully sparred with each other, I could tell she was learning to adapt and take different angles, getting better opportunities to land a strike.

It's crazy how she can already figure out how to alter her size this quickly as soon as she witnesses me perform it. I remember it took awhile for me to use it before Euphy’s summon. She’s a quick learner and will be a great asset in the future.

Since this ability has nothing to do with any of the skills I received with my tails, it must just be something innate to my race. If changing sizes is common to a fox, altering my appearance shouldn’t be far off into the future as something possible for me to do.

Seeing Euphy and her mom hesitantly make their way towards our scuffle, I quickly subdued Kyomi, keeping her pinned to the ground with my front paw. Instead of struggling, she just licks me nonstop because of the reaction it normally gets out of me. While I can’t say I don’t enjoy it, at some point it gets a little annoying.

‘Are you ready to go back?’ I asked quizzically, wondering if they want to face the reality of their shattered guild building and estate.

“Yes, Zero, and thank you for saving us.” Euphy said with as much of a smile as she could under the circumstances.

Gazing at her mother, she just smiled at me, “Thank you, Zero, for coming to mine and my daughter's rescue.” It seems like she's taking the situation well.

‘Let’s go.’ I said as I dropped down to all fours, letting both of them sit on my back as I took them home.

As we ran, Kyomi wanted to run with me, who would keep jumping up and down in excitement as we traveled at high speeds. I remember how excited I would get upon improving by gaining tails and the enticing feeling of strength that would envelop my body.

It didn’t take long to get back, with the base camp of the enemy not being too far off from where we lived. The wreckage all around us was enormous, as many people and their beasts were lying lifeless in the road.

Many buildings lay in rubble, and the illuminating signs that played throughout the night were mostly in shambles.

The beast from the invaders and the men with powerful weapons just overran this city as if it were nothing at all. I must get another tail as soon as possible so I can protect what’s now mine and kill off any more of those bastards who come through those rifts.

Upon arriving at the Oversight Guild, it was in shambles. Half of it was caved in with my different summoners lifeless throughout the building. There were also some invader deaths around this area, giving me some hope that these people weren’t completely useless.

I’m sure they’ve infiltrated every part of this world, for how fast they were able to react after I was summoned. Why in the world did they keep calling me the anomaly? A question I hope to get answered in the near future.
