Buying Harvestables Discussion
Added 2021-01-14 19:41:32 +0000 UTCSo I want to make my harvestables more accessible outside of finding them in seed packs. I was thinking I could add some options to purchase them from stalls and such, but I wanted to get some input from everyone about how you feel about it. A few questions I have:
- Should ALL harvestables be able to be purchased including rare ones? If not, how should rare ones be available? Splicing? More ways to find them?
- I love the idea of having a random selection of harvestables to choose from so sims can try to cook meals based off what's available at the market, what do you all think? I could make it completely random like the daily catch stall, I can make them so that only seasonal harvestables are available, so is there one you prefer over the other?
- Are there specific objects you want to see have this interaction? I was thinking the grocer stall and maybe another version of my produce stands that have that option. And would you like a separate menu for these or would you prefer I add them to the menu already there?
I know that's a lot of questions lol and I don't expect answers for all of them but I wanted to throw out what I was thinking. Depending on the feedback I may also post a poll later.

I personally use SCCO. And I believe Srsly adds your harvestables into the shopping menus with each update. That’s normally where I get them. I normally don’t buy them as seeds; I just plant the actual harvestable. Not sure if it’s possible or an option for you to create a bundle like SCCO has. With all your fruits/veggies/herbs.

2021-01-14 21:11:39 +0000 UTCMay be some could be found in some world only? Like mango and cocoa in Sulani, raspberry and blueberry in granite falls, and tea in mount komorebi... But for people that doesn't have the packs it could be annoying
