Monthly Lot - WIP Update & Discussion
Added 2018-08-21 18:03:14 +0000 UTCWow, it was a close vote this month! It ended up going to the Spa Lot with an underground spring. :D
To keep the street consistent, I went with another multi-story brick building. I'll probably break down and make some brick arches, or at the very least recolor/remesh the Cats & Dogs arches so they match the brick in-game.
I think I may call this lot the 'Sinkhole Springs Spa'. After several thunderstorms and heavy rain a sinkhole opened up in the courtyard to reveal an long lost basement. This basement now functions as a reservoir for the water flowing through the stone walls from the river.

I definitely need to make a rock or something that has a waterfall or fountain dribble effect for the wall. Maybe liberate/recolor some other rocks to decorate down here.
Areas I want to include in the spa:
- Lounge Area with Shake Bar
- Massage level
- Locker rooms
- Foot Massage area
- Sauna
- Mudbath area

Maybe something to work on with bakie himself but i was maybe thinking of a water droplet animation that you can place on the ceiling like a light, but just plays a steady drop of water coming down from it, possibly even forming a small puddle under it (and a stalagmite/ stalactite column formation)

I love those they add so much to places like that.
