2025-05-16 21:01:35 +0000 UTCAbout iPhones being made in America: I can't give details to confirm my story as it's under NDA but I work for a major construction company in Texas. We are currently working with Apple to build-out unused warehouse spaces into assembly spaces for Apple products. There's a lot of compressed air operated robotics, so I'm not sure how many actual jobs it will create for Americans but perhaps that will not lead to so much of an increase in pricing on products. They are looking at an EXTREMELY fast build schedule and willing to pay for it. It should be noted this was all before the recent pause on China tariffs. Perhaps they will stay overseas now that it seams Trump isn't a hard on China as he originally indicated.

2025-05-16 13:14:09 +0000 UTCI don't know if you will see this mav, but the wholesale prices dropped because people needed to make room in their warehouse to front load that inventory before tariffs hit. The smoking gun is that Amazon fulfillment centers cut the inventory space out of no where for sellers. They only do that when they have too much stuff getting front loaded.

Her company is eating tariffs to stay competitive with US producers. The first step to manage costs is a new austerity program in an already lean company. First nail in the ⚰️.

2025-05-16 12:45:48 +0000 UTCI am in the same boat...rolled out of a bad trade I nursed way too long...followed by the outbreak fledging season...so now in lockdown with THREE ferals cats...I took a break...this market so jumpy it can do anything...but I was tired...and I had to save a tufted titmouse. I missed the market's animal spirits unleasing...I was in transition...in nature's jungle. I think we will get another chance...I was invested in TLT and most of the drag was DOWN with it increasing during times of tweets and talk..tariff talk really made TLT go up for example...until people stopped believing him...I needed to get my head together about the reality of this market...I thought about brining my money to North Carolina..invest in something right here in my village...I'm that disgusted.

OF COURSE the ONE WEEK this year I'm not Long AMD and not looking at it, it shoots up by 20% in 3 days.. (I bought shares since January from $122 DCA down to 90's, sold below 80 and bought 5/9 90 calls, Then closed the calls 5/8 for a good profit, but overall still down 30% from start of year, started at 10k and down to 7k. I just wanted to not have to stress about damn stocks after being overwhelmed from work, and it's gotta come and pick literally the next day to skyrocket..) Besides my rant, Always appreciate you Mav.
