How important is it for the objects you use in your recipe (like the tray you grab from the fridge or the food inside the frying pan) to accurately reflect what you are making?
The recipes we have in game refer to the same sets of objects, like the generic fruit board and the generic apple chopping on the cutting board. I know it irritates me a bit to see that, especially when I'm using specific ingredients for a recipe but tell me what you think.

I agree. Sometimes I still get irritated that Maxis didn't make a proper animation for the PB&J sandwiches, but for the most part I've learned to accept that sort of thing and just ignore it.
2018-04-28 04:38:49 +0000 UTCI don't think making what we take out of the fridge be exactly what we are making all that important. I would rather have you use your time on tons of recipes using all those veggies and fruits you did plus in game ingredients rather than worry about what it looks like when we are cooking it. Sure it would be nice to look like more exact but I really dont think the time it would take is worth it. I do not know about other people I would rather have tons of recipes to make and eat than anything else. So long as it looks right on the plate all is good for me!
