I really liked the 'shifting' background of the previous video, however, I think it would work a bit better if it was slightly less saturated so it separated you from the background.

Personally, i don’t think you should take ads off your YouTube videos if they are even just an “okay” source of income. Get paid! If you do take them off, give your Patreon a bigger shout out and make it clear that the Patreon is the only reason you are able to not run ads. You also should NOT feel bad about wanting to make more money off your hard work. You are not begging for money your just trying to make a living lol I liked that little three second Patreon shout out thing. Doing those in different styles sounds fun.

You’ve done a good job explaining why you’re posting it and what you need, and I think that generally people should understand that if we want to see you doing videos full-time, you need to make money from them. I’d *maybe* suggest cutting out the “I hate ebegging” sentence right before you say that if people can’t afford it, not to feel pressured (you’ve made it pretty clear by that point that you would rather not make this video if you didn’t think you had to), but I think that’s more of an issue I personally have than other people would. And since that didn’t even make it into my first comment, you can probably tell it’s not too important of a concern for me anyway.

2022-08-09 04:14:36 +0000 UTCI think that for a channel like yours, $3K is a reasonable goal, and I can’t imagine anyone taking issue with your plan to demonetize the channel. Nobody likes ads, nobody really likes sponsor spots (not that you do those anyway), and there’s definitely a good amount of fully Patreon-funded channels out there… so I think you’ll fit right in with them :) The little Patreon slides at the beginning of the video are a pretty good way to spread the word too. I don’t know if you’re planning on putting them at the very start, or if you’re planning on using them like a sort of title card and doing an intro first, but I could definitely see you playing around with where you put it and finding what works best (for your channel and for your videos). Experimenting is good, actually.

2022-08-09 04:01:35 +0000 UTCi think the 3k idea is great but only if it is actually sustainable to get paid without ads. also, i dont really like the matching shirt / background thing. its not a lot of contrast esp if ur wearing warm tones that match the chair. maybe mix and match them? like i think the mushroom bg would work well with this plaid outfit and vice versa.
