I've recently gained a better grasp on how to draw dragon wings, and you might wonder how it happened; did i watch a tutorial? did i do studies? did i practice a lot? nope nope and nope, it happened by chance because I wanted to do a dragon animation in 3D class, and after weeks of fiddling with a 3D dragon model, and positioning wings in different manners, it just clicked, and I'm now able to picture/visualize them much better than previously. Like I actually can imagine where the membrane would be lax vs taut when planning a pose - before, I just hoped for the best,,
So while I can draw out schemes and maked annotations of the different components, I can only recommend playing with a 3D model as a learning tool if you have the opportunity, cause it sure as hell helped me
(the animation i'm talking about can be seen here at the beginning; https://youtu.be/gPmicYxEQg4 )
