Messy Motel

We drove all over Toronto trying to find a cheap motel that would allow us to photograph one another in their rooms. We had so many big bags of stuff (lingerie and lights etc.) to haul that we weren't exactly flying under the radar, so we had to be honest. And in these wonderfully sleazy hotels, they tend to not allow photoshoots or video recordings because... I have a feeling that the majority of their clientele on any given day are sex workers. The fun part was that was sort of the vibe we wanted for our shoot!
The photographer of this set is my friend Leah! I began teaching her photography with this set, haha. I think we are going to have to shoot again... what do you think?
