2025-04-25 16:37:31 +0000 UTCI actually think the simpler dialogue in the Drummond version of the Vegeta's anger scene fits with the performance, as he's gone so mad with rage that he's not even capable of more complex thoughts at this point.

2025-04-24 23:57:28 +0000 UTCi really dont like the ocean dub , the voices dont match the characters, its the same reason i dont care for the dbz sub, goku is this big buff tough guy but being voiced by a small japanese woman, it just feels weird,especially in like namek when goku looks like he weights 450 lbs of pure muscle

2025-04-24 17:48:01 +0000 UTCShadow 😭😭 we're talking like 2+ hour videos now hahahaha. We're really just taking a peek at english dub since that's what everyone is all up in arms about. I think the Japanese dub is always looked upon as being the best and closest interpretation.

Personally, I'll always pick the Z or Kai dub over Ocean, but that's because those are the ones I've heard all my life and anything else just sounds wrong to me (outside of Abridged at least). I'm 100% biased in that regard. "That's one whopper of a lizard" has to be one of the most hilarious lines I've heard in a dub recently regardless.
