No point in being coy about it, this is from a dream sequence. After all, why else would she be wearing shoes at this size? The very idea of someone's shoes growing with them is patently absurd! However, if all goes to plan Kaylee will get at least this big, eventually... just not in the first chapter!

I'm not sure if I've already mentioned that I got a new computer last month? At any rate, it really is vastly better than what I've been using for the last few years, which was only sort-of decent when I got it around 2014... I don't think I fully appreciated just how slow the old computer was until I finally got a new one! Looking back, I wasted too much time and mental energy dealing with the litany of minor annoyances that come with rendering on a sub-par PC.

Well now, thankfully, that's not longer a problem! Working on the new PC, it's like I've been training for a marathon with weights on, and now I'm finally able to run with them off, and it feels like I'm weightless! For the last month or so I've been rendering scenes with Kaylee that probably would have been just barely possible with the old computer, if I was willing to micro-manage things a bit to minimize VRAM usage, and put up with some trail-and-error and PC crashes. This is the first scene I've rendered that I can say, with total certainty, could not have possibly done without my new computer! Everything was done in a single render, with the exception of the smoke effects, which were added in post. (If you're wondering why there's so much smoke everywhere, she just knocked down a brick high-rise with her foot!) Anyway, hope you like the render, there's more where this came from!
