Super late to watching this one, had put it off cause its the technical filler arc with the butchered Heavens Feel stuff thrown in, but its not as bad as I remember (It has nothing to do with Sakura's outfit I swear!) I do really miss Atsuko Tanaka, she had such an amazing voice, she really pass way to early Not sure if anyone answered your question later or not but the reason for the German is cause Rin's ancestor Nagato Tohsaka was a student of Zelretch and Zelretch is German so all the spells he taught Nagato were in German so they just continued to get passed on in German. Wait your right, Sakura's outfit looks almost exactally like Lustalotte's I literally just compared it to the figure on my shelf, or I guess Lustalotte's looks like Sakra's since it came first.

2024-12-16 18:50:09 +0000 UTCIf noticed in the flashback scenes Rin was wearing purple while Sakura was wearing red clothes, it's only after Sakura's adoption Rin started wearing red and Sakura started wearing Rin's ribbon as a way to remind themselves of each other.

Souichiro's backstory is covered in Hollow Ataraxia, but Ufotable included some of it in the UBW anime. The short version is he was raised as an assassin from birth. Between this outfit for Sakura and Saber's wedding dress from UBW, Medea definitely has some very specific tastes for how she likes to dress up her playthings.
