That was a beautiful fight, definitely on a different level from a digital animation perspective, ufotable is really the king of digital animation and CGI blending

2024-06-01 18:47:19 +0000 UTCMmm that's also a great point. Cuz I remember seeing people hate on the Uzui vs Gyutaro fight from Demon Slayer saying that it's just explosions and flashes and people think it's great animation. I personally thought that was the greatest animation I've ever seen!

2024-06-01 18:44:52 +0000 UTCTrue, but you can tell if something is animated well or not to a certain degree, like the animation in the JJK openings is on another level compared to some other anime openings that use still frames or panning shots There is definitely still a subjective component but I think judging animation and direction leans slight more on the objective side imo

2024-06-01 18:38:15 +0000 UTCI think it was a pretty accurate list for popularity, especially in Japan, quality on the other hand is a different story. Although I'm the kind of person who values visuals over song when deciding if an OP is high quality or not, since music is very subjective but visual design is less so.
