The Plan

(PART 2)

He wakes up early, takes a shower and looks through his emails. While drinking a cup of coffee and calling his associate on speakerphone he goes through his social media and he sees a message from her. He thinks back about that day. Yes, he did see her but he was with his friends and was doubting to approach her. He regret he didn’t.

But he found her online through some post about a car his friend liked from her friend. He couldn’t let this opportunity get away when he found out the girl in the wheelchair was tagged in the picture. After days fantasizing about what he could say... he finally send her a honest and direct message.

In his mind he already went on different dates with her but in real life he hasn’t got much time. His business is very demanding so thats why he is always communicating clear to other people. Also to her. He told her what he wants and now it’s up to her.

So he replies to her question with the true story. A few hours later she replies again with a shocked emoji, followed by a “Yes”. He is so exited, he doesn’t know what to do.

“Can I get your number, so I can send you the details?”. She doesn’t gives him her number but tells him that she first wants to Skype later before staying in touch. He can feel she is not convinced yes, but he has a chance. He will do anything to make a good impression. So he send her a time schedule. It says 19:30 till 20:00. After that he has to catch a plane.

That evening she is at home, forgets the time while watching some show on tv. And then she gets a Skype call. Her heartbeat goes faster while she quickly makes a transfer to her wheelchair. She answers the call and she sees a pair of shoes on her screen. “Hello?”. She holds her breath while the camera switches and then she sees his face. Just like in the pictures. He smiles, says hello and she notices he is at the airport.

He tells her he is very happy that she gives him this opportunity and asks how her day was. After a few minutes she admits she is relieved he is the person he says he his. And as his nerves slowly fade he asked her if she thought about his offer. She looks into the camera with her big brown eyes and says “I’m not sure yet”. He tells her she can take her time but that he is just very exited. He tells her he will call her again in 2 days. He hangs up and gets on the plane to New York. During the conversation she had asked him where he was going and why. He explained he had an important meeting for business. He was always traveling and that’s also why he was at the event. He had connections who wanted to buy special cars. She told him “My life is very different, I’m at home a lot”. He replied “Your life will never be the same If you accept my offer”. And she just giggled while rolling around her place with one hand trying to wheel and one holding the phone. “Maybe, it will” she said fully confident.

He just hopes one day, he can hold her hand while she rolls next to him. He imagines looking next to him seeing her beautiful hair, one hand holding his while the other hand corrects the other wheel to keep rolling straight. Her long legs...wearing high heels and the idea they have hours to spend together.

But for now back to business.
