Toshi Densetsu grew up without knowing her parents. She was already a slave when she had a thought. She just knew that her family was from the Royal Family of Hulian, the High Elves. 

While growing up, she was protected by her two siblings. They were good brother and sister, and despite their status of being slaves, they did their best to give Toshi a good life. 

Unfortunately, their lives didn't get better. It became worst as the years passed. The current human King at that time created a dungeon underground to imprison Demihumans who had high qualities, as if they were merchandise. 

At that time, Toshi heard from her older brother and sister how their parents love them. She only heard about their parents from her two siblings. Esmeralda, that was the name of her mother. Her siblings kept telling her that she resembles their gentle mother... She didn't know how to react to that, was it a compliment or not? 

After all, the High Elves were greatly discriminated against and hated by the mortals. They were scorned and they received sufferings. So Toshi felt like being a High Elf was a curse, even being an elf was a curse. She wanted to cut her ears and gouged her eyes because she hated her lineage. 

Toshi grew older and things became worst. The High Elves were decreasing because of the dungeon that the King created. They started imprisoning Demihumans and their first target was the High Elves. No one escaped the dungeon... Even her siblings never returned after entering the dungeon. 

Since then, she hated the Kingdom, she hated the first human King, she hated her lineage and she hated herself. That hate grew until she loathed everything, even the whole world. 

"The world brings nothing but suffering." That was what she thought. 

One day, Toshi met her master who helped her escape the Kingdom of Junian. Her master only showed up once in a while but Toshi respected her Master.

She didn't think twice and agreed on leaving the Kingdom which brought her nothing but suffering. But it was not easy, she almost died twice. 

Her master told her that the only way to escape the Kingdom was by finding a certain woman. That woman had the ability to teleport with her paintings. 

Just like Toshi, the woman was a slave because she was a Half-Elf. The name of that woman was Puti. She befriended the woman and taught her how to paint. Apparently, Puti's Fuel was to make paintings. 

The two successfully escaped the kingdom after Puti trained her Term Attribute. 

But this was just the start of their struggle. Life outside the kingdom was not easy. 

After the Gods died and most Demihumans were eradicated by the Demon King and the Aberrants, the planet returned to its primitive era. Only a few countries that survived the advent of the Demon King had it better. 

They fought monsters and trained harder just to live. They met their comrades on the way. 

Toshi's Master showed up again and guided her on how to use her Term Attribute. 

Toshi was already 126 years old when she acquired her 3rd Term Attribute. She was not talented but time was on her side. Her lifespan was much longer than mortals. She could live a thousand years at best. 

Although her life outside the kingdom was hard, at least she had freedom. Something she was longing for. 

Then, Puti died... This was the start of Toshi's insanity. Her depressing thoughts were returning. Because of her long lifespan, she witnessed how the people around her grew old and died. She felt like her lineage was the reason why she was suffering. 

She felt like life had no meaning. She wanted everything to die. Since she didn't have a good life, she wanted everyone to live a bad life. 

After Puti's death, Toshi's master returned again to help her decipher her Term Attribute. She was already at the age where she had to awaken her divinity. The moment when her three Term Attributes merged into one. 

She was 382 years old when she experienced the Tribulation... It was the worst. She almost died. No, that was her Tribulation. She had to experience death to understand it.

She then acquired her Resurrection Term Attribute. She could revive a person once a century, but she needed sacrifices. 

The first she revived was her best friend. She knew Puti's grave since she was the one who buried her. She brought a person as a sacrifice. 

The ritual was a success and Puti breathed life... But she didn't have any memory. She was a different person. Because of this, Toshi's hatred became much worse. 

"Living is the reason why people are suffering."

She started an organization. Her dream was to see the world crumble. She found people who had the same philosophy as her and created the Council of Torment. The organization had one single mission, the destroy the world. 

Their organization gradually shaped up until it had the strength of a small nation. Apparently, there were a lot of people who wanted to see the world burn. They became loyal followers of the Council of Torment. 

As the person who could resurrect people, Toshi Densetsu understood the graveness of her ability... That was why she decided to hunt High Elves. 

"Master said that High Elves and their lineage is the best sacrifice to use."

With that information, the Council of Torment knew a country that housed High Elves-- the Kingdom of Junian. 

The Council of Torment found a hidden experiment site near the border of the Forest of Death. They ransacked the place and found one High Elf who was sleeping in a water capsule. Actually, there were two, but Toshi Densetsu let the other one live... Because she had an idea who that Dark High Elf was.
