While Calix was piping Lou in the Horvart University, there was a secret meeting in Junian that only a few selected people could attend. 

The place was well lit but it was quiet and reserved. 

"I can't believe that I'm here, I have many things to do."

Marianne frowned as she looked at the surroundings and confirmed that some of the attendees already arrived. 

After announcing that Marianne would be the next clan leader of Francine, her life became busy. If not because this meeting was important to her, she would go to her other schedules. 

"Look who's talking, you are not the only one who's busy."

Scarlett rolled her eyes. She crossed her legs and lean on the chair. Her schedule was packed. Now that she was the Matriarch of the Robinson Clan, she had more things to do. If not for her father who was helping her in the shadows, perhaps Scarlett's career would be rough. 

The Elders respected her because of her talent but she was still young and even the other Clans were snickering behind her back. 

"Everyone is busy. Even Nikki who is taking care of Patricia is busy," Kimberly added. 

"Y- yes."

Nikki agreed to what Kimberly said. Her voice was still weak as always. 

"Ah, I miss Calix. All I do every day is work here and there, traveling to dangerous places. I can only stalk him once a week, but it's still not enough. I want to see him~"

Yuna grumbled and the others women kept their mouths shut. It was obvious that they agreed with what she said. 

All of them sighed at the same time. They miss Calix despite seeing him at least once a week. The barrier of long-distance relationships was affecting them so much. 

"Hey Kimberly, when will you make another phone?"

Scarlett glanced at the glasses woman. She was talking about the phone that could contact Calix without being detected by the Junian network. 

"The parts and components are hard to find."

"Give me a list, I can contact my assistant to find them."

"Me too."

It seemed that Marianne and Scarlett wanted to have their own phone to communicate with Calix. 

"Just like I said, the parts and components are hard to find."

Kimberly nonchalantly fixed her glasses and smirked at them. 

"Tch!"

The two women clicked their tongues. Based on Kimberly's annoying expression, she would never make phones for them even if they acquired the parts. It was obvious that she never wanted the others to contact Calix.

"Uuhhh..."

Yuna was grumbling, haggard, and depressed. Her job was quite exhausting and it was taking a toll on her. She glanced at Nikki who was fidgeting and making herself small in the corner. 

'This giant woman is really...'

Yuna could not deny it, but Nikki was the most well-mannered of all of them. She was always quiet, rarely speaking, and she was humble. Furthermore, she was the only mother in the group and she had enough experience building a family. 

The women were serious, they were all looking forward to having a baby, and Nikki's experience was important to them. 

"Hey, how's Patricia?"

Yuna asked. She liked Patricia because she was cute and lovely. That little girl liked Yuna's cooking. 

"S- she is fine. She transferred to another school and she already made friends."

Nikki was happy whenever she saw her daughter smiling and telling stories about her school life. 

"... If not because I can read your lips, I will never understand what you're saying."

As always, Nikki's voice was weaker than an ant. 

"I'm jealous that you can retire from the army. Unlike me. The army really needs my Term Attribute and it's impossible to quit just like that."

Yuna became more depressed. At this sad moment, she really needs Calix's mighty fat PP. 

Nikki retired after the Blood Moon. She didn't want to endanger her life. She had a daughter to protect and being a soldier was not the optimal job for her. 

She decided to start a business instead. Now, Nikki was making cakes and pastries. Her bakery was famous in the capital after a well-known food blogger reviewed her shop and gave her a perfect five-star.

Of course, it was definitely NOT because of Calix's Luck... ahem. 

"Once my mission is over, I will visit your shop and play with Patricia. I miss that little girl."

Yuna smiled. 

"I want to join too, contact me when you're going."

Kimberly joined the conversation. She was close with Patricia too. 

"Count me in."

Scarlett didn't want to be left alone. 

"Thank you, I will bake cookies and cakes for you."

Nikki bashfully nodded her head. She was happy to see that many people loved her daughter. 

"..."

As for Marianne, she was biting her lip. She wanted to join too and see the cute little girl but she was too prideful to speak. She didn't want to lower herself.

In the end, Marianne kept staring at Nikki and the tall woman was sweating because she thought Marianne was angry at her. Nikki lowered her head, afraid of meeting Marianne's gaze. 

'Why are you not looking!? Can't you see that I want to join too!? Go ahead! Go ahead and invite me!'

Marianne was telling that by her gaze but Nikki misunderstood and thought that Marianne was glaring at her. 

Their conversation ended when they sensed that a new person arrived. A woman who had dark skin entered the room, she had a seductive figure and strutted in. 

"Look do we have here? The Matriarch of Robinson, the heir of Francine, the COO of Cudgel Tech, the teleporter of the army... and a traitor. What a nice combination!"

Esmeralda grinned beautifully and sat on the nearest chair. She looked around and nodded. 

"You pick a nice place to have a meeting, this place is well-lit. I guess you are afraid of me."

She shrugged. The others didn't like her attitude but they kept their calm. It was stupid to face the President in a battle. 

"Good evening, everyone. Let's have a delightful night."

Esmeralda giggled.
