Wales attempt III (update)
Added 2021-11-01 14:40:40 +0000 UTCHow's it going everyone? Just letting you know that Ben and I are back safe and sound from Wales, and I'm ready to start editing. As per usual I'm not going to give anything away in regards to the success of the mission, and for this reason I want you to forget everything I said in the clumsily written pre-mission post. (I said that if the mission was successful it would go on YouTube and if it failed it would go on Patreon) ..I didn't think that through at all did I? ..Instead, I decided early on in the filming of the mission that regardless of the outcome, the mission would go on YouTube. We already had some good footage from day 1 and I figured that it'd be a shame not to get it on YouTube. I'd probably just go for a more condensed, faster paced edit to keep the masses on board and interested. This does not mean that I succeeded or failed, but it does mean that you lucky Patreons will get to see loads more footage than the YouTube crowd. The videos will be similar in editing style to the usual bonus footage videos, but 2 or 3 times as long and with more important stuff happening that won't make the shorter YouTube cuts. As usual, these videos will be available for ALL Patreons, as well as early access to the YouTube episode(s)
In terms of time frame, I wouldn't like to give you a solid quote right now, but realistically, considering everything else I have going on, I'm going to aim for 6 weeks. In the mean time I'll try my best to supply you $4 Patreons with more stories and videos, and don't forget, as soon as the Wales series is released, I'll be getting straight to work on editing the "no roads black country mission" which I just know you're going to love, and which will come with a load of bonus footage too.

2021-12-07 06:38:12 +0000 UTCI'd rather not cut too much away, as most of the allure of your videos comes from actually seeing the landscape you go through, you are literally walking for us :) We do not need action all the time. Simple landscape footage is as good as you trying to climb a fence, it makes for a good balance. I found it better if you "sped up" sections with some music like you always do when you need shorter videos but not really cut it. But this is my opinion. And thanks anyways for doing this me and my GF are waiting for a new straight line mission since Months :) And yeah, scotland would be amazing. I hope for a future in which you crossed all countries once :)

2021-11-01 15:20:59 +0000 UTCI've never used Chromecast, but was able to access it in my Xbox (and any other devices with YouTube) by just opening the position video with YouTube then liking it, and accessing it through my liked videos. Hope that helps in some way : )
