"Learn you to burn you" I really liked that. Well said BJ

Duck

This 20 year old Black girl from Harlem was there and watching ALL day on MTV. My family was so mad. We only had one tv hooked up to cable. My dad was shaking his head all day because he could not understand how his daughter who grew up on Motown was so enthralled. Yeah, I was there for Madonna. I wasn’t a Queen fan yet. But once I was, I haven’t turned back!

blkgirlrising

Don't be silly Uncle Andy

Aaron Barlow

Awesome movie fun fact the actor who plays as bass player john deacon his name is Joseph Mazzello he was the little boy tim in jurrasic park

Chris Smith

too many inaccuracies for me

Silly Uncle Andy Farmer

https://youtu.be/cZnBNuqqz5g?si=_lDyAsiSiIIWmaei If you have any doubt about Freddy's legacy. Check out this crowd from 2017. The crowd was waiting for Green Day. And the most remarkable thing I've seen happens

Laura Moore

If you haven’t seen it yet react to the 20 minute live aid performance and see how close he got all the moves and songs

Frank Gonzalez

Watch Wayne's World to get the joke...

Dan Gonya

Rocketman Rocketman Rocketman!!!

Dan Gonya

Sasha Baron Cohen was originally going to play Freddie, but he wouldn't do it unless it was gonna be a hard R rating, but the band didn't want the full story, the black history behind Queen. That being said, with the exception of a few anachronisms, for instance they didn't know Freddy Mercury had AIDS until long after live aid. And the parties that Freddie Mercury would throw were absolutely tame compared to what the movie showed you. All things considered it was a reasonably good biopic.

Dan Gonya

Great reaction! I recommend reacting to "Bob Marley: One Love" which is another musical biopic like this (except obviously about Bob Marley). It's so good!

Matt F

Anybody who hasn't seen Ray needs to watch it ASAP ❤️‍🔥 Jamie Foxx completely transformed into Ray Charles

Ronny H

I didnt grow up in a classic rock household so I had to discover Queen all on my own. Needless to say, I was ENAMORED with them to the point where I cried when I found out that Mercury was already dead 💔

Ronny H

I have been waiting for y'all to watch this movie. Such a great biopic movie about an iconic band. This is one of my favorites. Rami Malek who played Freddie Mercury (Which he did awesome and a great actor, just in general), won a well-deserved Oscar for Best Leading Actor for this movie. Also, Brain May (Guitar) and Roger Taylor (Drummer) executive produced this movie (Not sure if they helped with writing the screenplay, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did). I would say that the accuracy of this movie is on point when you have the guitarist and drummer who knows Freddie Mercury and his life the best. Awesome reaction, to a fantastic movie. Sending y'all positive vibes and positive energy.

Carson.Blu

As far as I know, they were touring in Japan for like 6 months before the live aid.

Dan Gonya

Crimson Tide

Soldiergirl

The movie offers deep insight into his life and struggles, and it also delves into the creative process behind his music. It's truly fascinating! I can’t say more without getting into spoilers, but I think you’ll really enjoy it.

tek

Gene Hackman died recently, one of the finest American actors of all time. Can you guys watch Mississippi Burning or Crimson Tide with him and Denzel to remember him 🙏❤️

Davey

mIKE MYERS playing the record executive saying 'nobody will ever listen to BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY on the radio and bang their heads.." which was a joke becuase Mike Myers played Wayne in Waynes world - where they rode around in Garths car headbanging to... Bohemian Rhapsody - like 25 years before this movie came out :)

A LINUS ADVENTURE

These are the days of our lives is the last song and video they did together in 91. Please do a reaction to that on your other channel.

Dan Gershgol

It was a 16 hour concert.

Raider Ron

I saw Live Aid but not sure if I saw every band cause it was so long.

Raider Ron

Rami Malek won the Academy award playing Freddie. Rami is in a series called Mr Robot which is excellent.

Raider Ron

I’ve never heard of that one and also I never knew he had schizophrenia!! What !!?? I need to check that out !

Michele G

Great Reaction!! I love QUEEN, and this was a great biopic - they did a great job with this one. Loved it and love their music!!

CD

I love Queen. This movie is amazing. ♥ Also you should see "Rocketman" its a movie about Elton John.

SylMyl

Indeed Wendy!

Pink Martini AZ

This was a delight to watch again. Love watching content with Asia & BJ.

Kirsty McKay

I saw this on the ultra screen.

Dan Gershgol

A little trivia for ya all. Lady GaGa got her name from Queen's Radio GaGa. True story

Steve Chase

Actually, they put in a tape. https://youtu.be/wfXJA8XrRGM?si=uDEVHQJTkUGzORlI

Cynthia Farrington

Walk the line is awesome

Elizabeth DeMerie

They chose the actors REALLY well. They all looked exactly like the band members.

Aaron Barlow

It seems all Hollywood movies get music biopics inaccurate. However, this was a good film and no matter what that Live Aid performance was incredible. I too saw it on tv and I was 14. It will always give me goosebumps.

Wendy

I second Ray and propose a Walk the Line reaction too!

Darth Brooks

I did not expect to like that but it was great💛

JessicaB

The reason mike myers was in this, rejecting bohemian rhapsody, was because he used it in wayne's world? Which I hope you've already seen, if not you should check it out.

David Diesbourg

This is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites!!!!! Thank you !! I’ve already watched it on repeat all night just so I can jam to the music!!! Yall should do a biopic once a month! Next month I vote for Ray !! It is FANTASTIC!!!

Michele G

Crimson Tide

Soldiergirl

I love queen & freddie so much. I’m a 70’s kid who loves her music. Loved watching you both enjoy this movie. Asia, you had me crying seeing you cry. 😢 Ok, I was crying anyway 😆 But that set me off again.

Natalievegas1965

Walk the Line is sooo good.

Pink Martini AZ

This is one of my favorite reactions of yours. I loved your reactions and enthusiasm. I was tearing up right along with you Asia. I remember watching Live Aid. I was 15 and it was amazing. Watching them doing it all over again in the movie and I shake my head in amazement. My husband hates all the inaccuracies in this film. I also wish Hollywood would stop changing true stories.

Pink Martini AZ

Another biopic you might enjoy is 'Love & Mercy,' which tells the story of Brian Wilson from The Beach Boys and his struggles with schizophrenia.

tek

I hope you see this comment. This movie was incredibly inaccurate. The band never split up, Freddie never fired their manager, he was not some wasted, unprofessional jackass in the studio. In fact, he was considered incredibly professional and was often the peacemaker during arguments. He wasn't on some drugged out haze, prompting the band to kick him out and him begging to return. Just before Live Aid they completed a major tour with a new album. I could go on and on how bad it was.

bbbfst

A&B, not sure you saw my comment about Mike Myers playing the producer who missed out on signing Queen because he thought Bohemian Rhapsody was too long and had incomprehensible lyrics. He also said it wasn’t a song that teenagers would be head banging to in a car, which was a direct reference to a scene in Wayne’s World in which Wayne (Michael Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) did just that when it came on the radio.

Cynthia M Farrington

Check out Walk The Line. It's Johnny Cash's story. One of those movies that no matter what you're doing, you have to stop and watch.

Jesse McAdams

Goosebumps? psshhh me too. It is said that musicians who are really musically inclined get goosebumps when it comes to music because we know that feeling when we create. Yea this is really a good movie, when I first watched it I shut it off after that kissing scene, I didn't know Freddy was like that. But I eventually got back to the movie later and found out it was really good. He does have a lot of hits that everyone still jams to, Mighty Ducks was one of those movies that played we are the champions song and I didn't know who queen was then either. Excellent upload, Keep em coming.

Saints_Madness

The manager played 'Little finger' in Game of Thrones. That's where you've seen him Asia. Oh you realised later on :)

Aaron Barlow

Hope you try other biopics from other people:Ray, coal’ minor Daughter, La bamba, Selena etc Also El Cantante!!!!

Awilda Luciano

Brilliant movie. Was one of those films perfect for the cinema. Hearing all the Queen classics over those loud speakers.

Francis 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Can you guys watch STAND BY ME?

Amber

I wanted to like this one, but it felt too generic and safe.

Envision

Rami Malek and Joseph Mazzello both are in the mini series The Pacific. A very good mini series about the marines in WW2. Mazzello plays the bass player was also the little kid from Jurassic Park.

Brett

MUCH better, thank you so very much!

Paula Turner

My mistake. It was Wayne’s World.

Cynthia M Farrington

BJ and Asia. Thank you Thank you Thank you. I can't believe you guys picked this movie. You just made me and my wife's weekend. Great pic.

Steve Chase

Oh they have? Ok

Rashad Walker

They don't done time to kill

rossM

Oh snap! Not some Freddie! Great choice!!!!!

Debbie Green

Can u check out a few fav films A time to kill Crimson tide The negotiator Mississippi burning

Rashad Walker

About 50 minutes in, when they pitch Bohemian Rhapsody, the man who keeps saying it’s too long for the radio and that nobody will ever be head banging to it, is played by Michael Myers. It’s a hilarious joke because in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure Bohemian Rhapsody comes on the radio and he and Dana Carvey’s character head bang to it in the car.

Cynthia M Farrington

You guys are the best! 😁

Rebecca Karsner

The issue with the volume should be fixed now... Not sure how, or why the volume was so low but we fixed it! Thank y'all for letting us know. Hope you guys enjoy the movie as much as we did! Happy Friday!
