I've always liked the idea of vanishing for a long period of time and returning unrecognizable to anyone...clever and powerful, and take my revenge. As an adult, I realize that that isn't how the world works and I fought through my own problems and became a better man for it. It was still a fun fantasy and this movie exemplifies it wonderfully. Jim Caveziel is awesome too, but I think my favorite character is Jacapo. Luis Guzman is great!

Now he’s all in on adrenachrome and Jewish space lasers. I really REALLY like this movie and his performance, and even his performance as Jesus was epic, but it must have changed him. I know he had some crazy stuff happen to him. Got whipped for real a few times in the scourging scene, dislocated his shoulder carry the 300 pound cross. Struck by lightning. That can change your brain chemistry. Also historically any actor to portray Jesus in a movie, usually suffers or is changed in some way career-wise.🤷♂️
