I know I'm late here but some comments seem confused: The Resurrection Stone DOES NOT bring people truly 'back to life'. It just lets you communicate with the dead like Harry was with everyone before meeting Voldemort in the forrest. Thats why one of the original brothers killed himself, because the love of his life wasn't actually back. The books go into a lot more detail on all this. "They were neither ghost nor truly flesh, he could see that. They resembled most closely the Riddle that had escaped from the diary so long ago, and he had been memory made nearly solid. Less substantial than living bodies, but much more than ghosts, they moved toward him, and on each face, there was the same loving smile."

What a journey, Harry survived because of his mother, when Voldemort tried to kill Harry the night his parents died, his mother sacrificed herself for him producing powerful love charm that protected him from Voldemort. So the only thing he could kill in Harry was the part of his soul that lived in Harry and anybody else could’ve killed Harry, except for Voldemort himself(which nobody knew except for possibly Dumbledore). Which is funny because several others offered to kill him, but Voldemort wanted to be the one. What came out of the golden snitch was the resurrection stone, which allowed him to speak to people he loved who were dead which is why he asked what it felt like to die. Also Voldemort died at a young age for a Wizard so Ironically his journey for Immortality lead to him dying younger than average😂😂. Finally for those who watched Naruto you should notice that Snape had the Itachi Uchiha journey.😂😂🙌

Harry did die but he had the resurrection stone which came out of the golden snitch right before he met voldemort which is the reason he was able to come back to life so that little piece of voldemort did die but Harry came back without that piece, and that piece was the lil shriveled guy when Harry was in the White area with Dumbledore. Snape is the OG and i love how he evolved and how they revealed all that at the end, hes one of the real heros of the show

Well said. And the famous line “After all this time?” And Snape: “Always.” Gets me every time. He never stopped loving her. And his Patronus was a doe the same as Lily’s. ASIA AND BJ: Did you catch the flashback in Snape’s memory that it was actually Snape’s patronus doe that led Harry to find the sword in the frozen lake in HP and the Deathly Hollows part 1? Wow.

Harry had the resurrection stone (one of the deathly hallows, olis he had the invisible cloak AND the wand in the end. Harry had all three!) in the golden snitch that dumbledore left him. So Voldemort “killed” Harry, which destroyed the accidental horcrux, but the stone kept Harry alive. That’s why he survived. And Draco’s mom didn’t really want to be in with the dark shit. You can see she was tired of Voldy and Draco’s dad’s shit. She just wanted Draco, she was a REAL one. And Draco was crippled by the familial and peer pressure. Once he got out of that he was fine.

The ugly bloody creature that was lying under the bench when harry went to what you thought was heaven was the piece of Voldemort that was in harry and no longer is. When harry came back from the heaven place he no longer had that piece of Voldemort with him.

I loved going on this journey with you guys - We're actually going back to WB, Harry Potter world, UK this year lol, thanks to re-watching these! Remember Neville from the first one? How clumsy and picked on he was? What they don't mention properly is? Harry could have been Neville. Neville could have been Harry. Neville's birthdays the end of July, just like Harry, and Bellatrix tortured Neville's mother and father for so long? They lost their minds. Like Harry? He wasn't raised by his parents either. Harry and Neville were actually more alike than some realise. And if it wasn't for Neville killing the snake, worthy of getting the sword from the sorting hat, something Voldemort didn't think Neville was, like Harry did in the second movie in the Chamber of secrets, showing he was worthy too? Harry may not have won either, but Neville killed Nagini and Harry did. So really? BOTH Harry, the chosen one and Neville, the underestimated one, both ended up defeating Voldemort in the end anyway. (Neville becomes the herbology teacher in Hogwarts in the end too) and they're all still good friends. Thank you so much, loved it! :)

Snape is one of the best characters in anything, ever IMHO. For SO long (literally 6 books and 7 movies) you are meant to believe that he is a snake on the bad/evil side of things but just like Harry finding out he must die at the proper moment, we all learn that Snape was actually a double agent and all along in love with Lily. He only killed Dumbledore because he was asked to. Snape is the one who sent the doe patronus to Harry in part 1 so he could find the sword of Gryffindor. The way that the scene at the pensive with Snape's tears clears up so much & the way that it was shown makes it one of my favorite parts of this series for sure.

When Voldemort killed Harry, he destroyed the horcrux he had inadvertently created, but he did not kill Harry's soul. Neville was able to kill the snake because the sword of Gryffindor was one of the objects able to kill horcruxes. When Narcissa went to see if Harry was dead, she realized he was alive because his heart was still beating. But the only thing she cared about was making sure her son was still alive and that's why she told Voldemort that Harry was dead. She didn't care anymore about Voldemort. The arc of Snape's character, his double agent status was one of the most brilliant pieces of writing ever. It was his love for Lilly that made him protect Harry, even though he held great bitterness against his father, James. He was the unsung hero of the piece that Harry finally realized which is why he named his son after him.

Yes!! So happy you finished the series. The ending at King’s Cross always makes me cry, mostly because I grew up with the films. I was 10 when Sorcerer’s Stone came out, and 20 when this film came out. Harry Potter raised a generation of kids ⚡️
