Have yall watched American sniper?

Rslharoo

Thats another good movie. He was protected for it is written, No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

Saints_Madness

Black Hawk Down is another good one

ChipmunkFF

I knew the story but had not seen the movie.

Dan Gershgol

I really enjoyed your reaction to Hacksaw Ridge I found out this movie back in 2020 when I was looking for War movies to watch and I would say that I have watched this more than Pearl Harbor which would be another great War movie reaction you guys should check out it is a little sad but a great movie.

Ashley Santiago

Pearl Harbor is another really good war movie I watched it for the first time 2 years ago and since then I would say the amount of times I watched it is about 20, 25 times

Ashley Santiago

Please watch no country for old men!

Sam Himmelman

Definitely a good story for a movie! Its such an interesting case, there's a site where all the info is on as well, the governments actions weren't exactly correct procedure either. If you want to watch it? This is a good doc with some good info on it :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck9HOxnsmic

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

So by that title I didn't recognize it but when I checked there were a couple of documentaries here few years apart I believe a channel here called History but yes both very mysterious and tense. They gave several ideas one is a creature interesting a Russian woman I know says as a child that was the gossip spread for decades by the govt. In the programs there was talk about the group was in a highly sensitive area, idk but its a good story for a movie.

George Bakis

Thank you George :) and agree, Great expectations was. I've got a very wide range of movie and music tastes because of them thankfully. Not a world war movie, but it can be attached to the Russian's and weapons testing, I'm reading a book about the Dyatlov pass incident atm. I'm surprised a movie hasn't been done about that, unless I've missed it.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

Both great choices. Great Expectations was brilliant. Growing up it was American or British films. But truly God Bless your Grandmother, Grandfather and your Dad.

George Bakis

Yes, born and bred :) I grew up watching old war and Western films with my dad, and black and white movies, though I can't remember lots unless my memories jolted with them sometimes. Mine was (and I know I'm saying that being British, but its just my first black and white memory) Great expectations 1946 and Scrooge 1951. My dad loves both even now and so do I. You have a better film memory/knowledge, than I do!

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

Didn't know you were British the first film i fell in love with as a kid was Man Hunt 1941 with Walter Pigeon Joan Bennett George Sanders and fish & chips. When we all went out to eat I would order it. But was disappointed it wasn't wrapped in newspaper.

George Bakis

Italy invaded Greece allowing the Germans to put additional troops in Northern Africa etc. Italians raped and stole, in time the Greeks forced them out by land or into the bay. Hitler angered now needed to send troops and the Powerful Germans arrived. Greek Guerillas working from the Mountains. Every German killed led to 5 Greek Men being killed.

George Bakis

Thank you Jesse. Lol wouldn't have blamed you either way!

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

Sometimes "NICE" needs to take a backseat.

George Bakis

I knew I'd surprise you one day, George haha :) When I've said about Operation mincemeat to some? They've had no clue about it, and its a shame, because its more significant than some know imo. Ewen Montagu's book is so good. I think they should watch Bridge on the river Kwai and The great escape as well tbh. Gene was definitely a beauty, I've never seen Laura. I'll have to check it out. I've seen him in Titanic though iirc.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

Wow Go Shell. Yes the very well made British film I believe made only about 10 years after the war! So crisp details at there fingertips. Popular Star Clifton Webb who also was in the film noir Laura with devastating beauty Gene Tierney. From now on I come to you for information.

George Bakis

Italy also invaded

George Bakis

You weren’t too blunt. Only being honest. It needed to be called out. At first I was going to unload a Jesse Pinkman rampage complete with the “little b#tch” color commentary but went in the self awareness direction. Both equally valid imo.

Jesse

Yeah, I know, I'm just too blunt lmao. Hope you're well.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

Thanks Shell. I hear you. It was very ignorant comment based on what you mentioned. I was being nice about it. Haha. Thanks

Jesse

To me, personally, Jesse? He knows a lot of US people are on here, and wanted to make it a personal dig. There's no need for it full stop imo, hence my replies, trying to make American's seem like trigger happy, unintelligent, dummies. To make that kind of comment, is actually more ignorant than he's claiming others are. I love critical thinking, not going along with the crowd, but this ain't it. As you and Ross say, a time and a place...But there's no need to be so harsh on one country, considering what others have done too. EVERY country has propaganda, the US isn't the only one. We in the UK have it too.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

Love the above comments. Maybe you should switch from critical thinking to critical self awareness. Seriously. I come on here because I enjoy movies and shows and watching with a whole community. And yes I like enjoy playing different characters too yo. It’s relaxing. Too much tension and fear based thinking when polarizing agendas are involved. A time and a place for that. A time and a place.

Jesse

Hope you're both okay? And had a lovely, well deserved holiday! Such a good movie, and loved your reaction to it. Here's something some may not have heard of - operation mincemeat 2021 Colin Firth and Jason Isaac's done a movie, worth watching imo and underrated. Its about British intelligence. Operation Mincemeat was a deception conceived by British Intelligence to fool the Germans regarding the true target for the Allied invasion of Sicily, so yes, true story. Maybe just for the future list I hope. Its crazy how they fooled them (Without wanting to give spoilers) Or, if you want to go classic? There's a 1956 movie The man who never was regarding it.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

This indeed was an awesome movie 💯🎬 loved watching it again🥹❤️🙏

Donna Bannister

@rockstar, I’m not really clear what you are going on about that we are being lied to about or led to believe. All military wars or just WWII? Or just Desmond’s story? Is it the military doing the misleading, the media or Hollywood? I get it that Hollywood takes liberties and I do hate when they do that on true stories. They did change up a few things in Desmond’s story but honestly almost everything is true. Even the “one more” comments. He spoke about it. If you are referring to other military actions, yes America is not perfect but who is? What country hasn’t made mistakes? It doesn’t make us the most evil on this planet. We try don’t we? That’s all we can do. Try to do the right things.

Pink Martini AZ

Oh, and I'm UK, and someone who's grandmother was a WREN and who's grandfather is named, amongst many heroes, in the royal Greenwich Royal Navel collage. I'm thankful every day they came out of it alive. Not every war is necessary imho, and war crimes do sadly get committed, but in the case of WW2? Hitler underestimated the rest of the world uniting. He thought he could play everyone off each other, get Japan and Italy and Russia involved on his side and they'd win. He was thankfully wrong and deluded. Hitler attacked first with his sycophants. The rest of the world united and ended it, and even Italy backed down in the end, and Russia. It was only after the US joined forces with the UK in 1941, Russia went? (we're out) after Hitler went back on his word and turned on Russia, wanting to rule them as well, going back on an agreement they had, so thankfully went in our favor. Finally, so did Italy in 1944. It may have been different if that hadn't happened either. This is all factual history, not propaganda. In many instances I agree with critical thinking for yourself, but you shouldn't blame the US for Hitler's actions.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

The US were actually staying out of it, until Japan, working alongside Germany attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, a US state. Killing 2,403 people. Josh is right. Its thanks to the US eventually joining the other countries started to crumble and surrender eventually as well. So? It was Japan and Germany and others who invaded countries and killed people, but you're blaming the US for it? Hmmm... Perhaps you're believing propaganda from somewhere? ''critical thinking'' has nothing to do with factual history, this was the world uniting to defeat eventually, an evil psychopathic lunatic and if they hadn't? Some of us wouldn't even be here today. What you have to say to the ones who fought against them in fact is? THANK YOU.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

I loved the reaction guys! Another true story about our soldiers and wartime experiences that will have you weeping is 'American Sniper', it is phenomenal and based on relatively recent events! Y'all should definitely check it out!

Wendy Garner

never seen this., interested to check it out. Platoon is a fantastic war movie def worth watching. Thanks as always!

JessicaB

Thank you guys for another great pick. Cry every time I see it. Apocalypto is another great movie directed by Mel Gibson as well. Great Reaction 😊

Awilda Luciano

Excellent, EXCELLENT movie choice, Ross! This movie was phenomenal and we truly enjoyed every part of it!! Can’t believe it took us this long to watch it but it was very well worth the watch! ☺️

Asia and BJ

Germany & Japan was the ones invading. Japan invade China, Philippines, India, Malaysia. Germany invaded 80% of Europe, and Northern Africa. The US helped stop it

Josh

Then after the WWII the US was the only country that helped rebuild France, and even the enemies of the war Germany & Japan. The US fed their civilians, rebuilt homes, schools, and railroads. No other country can say that in history

Josh

🤣 u do realize the US entered WWII hella late? The US probably wouldn't have even gotten involved at all if Japan didn't bomb Pearl Harbor. Before that the US just sent food & supplies to UK & France. But do u have any idea what the world would look like today if the US didn't get involved? The Axis Powers Alliance made up of Germany, Japan, and Italy would have taken over the world.. at least the Eastern Hemisphere

Josh

Yes also there are a couple of documentaries done on these ladies that was overwhelming.

George Bakis

It's better then mine and I was born here!

George Bakis

A&B, just finished watching this movie the first time in years was emotional. Watching it with y’all made it even more so, experiencing this movie with others, that’s what this is all about for me. I love the reaction, but I more so loved watching it “with” y’all. You are both so very genuine and i love that about y’all. The movie really does hit me in the heart. Desmond was bullied, teased for his beliefs and got his ass kicked for it. But he never gave up, persevered and ended up kicking ass himself. The entire romance aspect of it to, that is what really gets to me. Dorothy, the love story, her picture in the Bible. All he wanted or cared about was his Bible. Such a powerful film. The ending with the interviews, really makes me tear up. My eyes were tearing up through half of the movie. Thank y’all so much.

Ross Johnston

Me and you both brother! It pulls at the heart strings and the ending makes me want to really cry.

Ross Johnston

This is not a political or judgmental environment. I understand your critical thinking, but a time and a place. A time and a place. A time and a place. Understand? Say it with me, a time and a place. Perhaps we should all watch Wizard of Oz together. Understand?

Ross Johnston

I had never seen this. This was great.

Randy Ripley

I don't get how the US civilians just eat up whatever the US military says. With so much proved propaganda and such there is. It's absolutely astonishing. And unsettling. But go ahead, invade countries, kill civilians, and die for people like this. "Just let me get one more" changes drastically if you've ever ACTUALLY seen action and isn't a psycho. I really hope this country gets a grip in the future. And that the people develop critical thinking on their own, because god knows the government wish you don't.

Rockstar

Thanks for the warm wishes and watching this one. We love you both.

Pink Martini AZ

Oh my god I forget how fantastic this movie is. And how AMAZING this man was. The first time I saw this I remember turning to my husband and saying, “oh my god babe, did he really do all this??” This is one hell of a man. Excellent choice VIP.

Pink Martini AZ

"Hidden Figures" should be on the list

Angel Kendall

You both are the best!

Bill Bliss

I “third” Chernobyl. Especially if you are looking for another series but not one that has like 100 episodes! Also based on actual events.

Bill Bliss

This is like the 10th time I’ve seen this movie and I’ve never made it through without crying through half of it. Best WW2 film ever in my opinion. The fact that’s a true story, Desmond Doss was a real man who really did all this, puts it over the top.

Bill Bliss

WW2 is my favourite sequel but would have hate to have fought in the Pacific. European theatre all the way.

Rich

If you liked this movie, you'll love We Were Soldiers, with Mel Gibson.

John

Since you are on a roll with true inspirational movies, We are Marshall is really good.

Danna

Oh, by the way Asia, the guy earlier in the movie said this is the 96th. at least what’s left of them. It was the 96th division.

Michael Lynch

Loved the reaction and movie💞💞

Ashley Santiago

I'll second Carl's suggestion. I know documentaries are not something you all react to regularly but the "Conscientious Objector" he linked above is one of the best ever; especially if you liked Desmond's story. Truly remarkable human being.

Greg Hoenig

Thank you George, i hope the people understand me because my english is not the best.

Andreas

You guys are the best. I cry like a bitch every time I see this movie. I'm so happy you enjoyed it.

Rayna & Mike Sitter

Two amazing movies in a row! It's gonna be a great night tonight. Hope everyone is doing well this evening and thanks for the upload✌❤ fam!

Darth Brooks

Check out the director's cut of Highlander. With Queen doing the soundtrack you can't go wrong. Proud Patreon enjoying your content

For those who are interested, here is a really good documentary on Desmond Doss. (Viewer discretion advised) https://youtu.be/Od0uv1FzpaM?si=A_VJzTBiEDerkklw

Andreas I have read some of your comments. Your a breath of fresh air. Good viewing.

George Bakis

I’m also a Seventh Day Adventist. When I was a kid he came and talked to our Pathfinder group (SDA Boy Scouts). Got to shake his hand. My Dad also met him when he was a kid. Although for me, I’d want every single weapon I could get ahold of. However, you have to admire his commitment and courage to follow, standby, and stick up for his beliefs. What a great and inspiring man. He was on an episode of “This is your life” https://youtu.be/S5TKAJtHTNo?si=QPzL4YzvKNx6gQq6

Reed Caviness

Ransom was a great film with him as well!! 😁

Rebecca Karsner

I second Chernobyl, it's a brilliant production and educational too

Davey

Mel Gibson is a brilliant director. I love to see you guys watch his movie Apocalypto. It's a insane beautiful piece of cinema

Davey

I just finished remember the titans but now i look your next great reaction thx for that. You said you want to see more sport movies, i think "The Comeback" with Russel Crow is a good decision. Its a true story, its sad bud it got a happy end. Greetings from germany. By the way i saw Hacksaw Ridge a couple times but this movie is so awesome i could see them every day, speciale with you guys.

Andreas

We all love you guys!!! 🥰🙏🙌

Rebecca Karsner

This was a great pick! Haven't seen this since it first came out!! Perfect time to rewatch!! Thanks for another banger!! 🙌🥰

Rebecca Karsner

Hell Yes ! Thank u for reactioning to 1 of my request. Now u guys just need to see "Fury." That's another great war film

Josh

It’s not hard to imagine why he was so successful at not getting shot. He is Spider-Man after all.

Michael Lynch

Thank you! Two great movies, two nights in a row, you're amazing!

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

We hope everyone is having a beautiful and productive Friday. TGIF!! Hacksaw Ridge was a great watch. We enjoyed everyone minute of this one! Trust me, you can tell when you see our reaction. The man behind the (Desmond Doss) story is truly fascinating and inspiring. We wish everyone a wonderful evening and even better weekend. Much Love from Asia and Bj

Asia and BJ

Another one checked off on the list of movies based on real life events that I sent you. Great movie! Can’t wait to watch it with you.😁👍🏻 oh, and you still need to watch Chernobyl. It’s only five episodes.☢️

Carl 🐉

Yes yes yes!!! I was just about to watch. Remember the Titans with you guys, but this takes precedence over that. this is an absolutely incredible movie. I can’t make it through the end without tears all over my face.
