The aim is to prevent the teams in the game from covering the established point spread, as in how many total points both teams are predicted to score combined. People bet if that total will be less than or exceed the total predicted by Vegas. In basketball, for instance, players shave points by internationally missing shots, or making bad plays on purpose. Refs do it by calling, or not calling, fouls at certain points in the game. This helps gamblers who are involved in the scheme cheat the system & make money they otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Burt noticed someone harassing him at his table. Burt went to Moreland's table and sat with them. Burt laughed along with the bigot then quickly slammed his head onto the table and the bigot went to the floor unconscious. He escorted Mantan to his table where they dined with Angie. Burt told the manager to leave him on the floor. When he finally woke up, Burt while in conversation got up and knocked him out again. Then told the manager "ok call the sheriff". The three went on with there dinner. Angie Dickinson repeated this on the Merv Griffin Show.

Bill Romanowski was a far better player than just being known for spitting on JJ Stokes. He won 4 Super Bowls. Two with SF and two with Denver. Each pair was back to back. He went to 5 total. The guy playing golf that wanted a picture taken was former NFL?CFL QB and ESPN analyst Sean Salisbury. Inmate Battle who wore X on his jersey is pro wrestler and former NFL DT Bill Goldberg. Terry Crews was a LB and DE for several NFL teams. Joey Diaz was Big Tony (the K state fat guy) - he did NOT play Big Pussy on The Sopranos. One last interesting fact, the guard named Papajohn (real name Michael Papajohn) was Adam Sandler's stunt double in The Waterboy. It was him putting all those big hits on people. In college at LSU he was actually drafted by the Texas Rangers to play baseball.

He admitted many times that feeling being dismissed went away as soon as somebody replied "you know Burt Reynolds was the Top Grossing Male Star again this year".

Hall of Famer great Ray Nitschke, Ernie Wheelright, Joe Kapp and others. Robert Tessier who fought Charles Bronson in Hard Times also starred. Burt was an All-star Southern Conference halfback at Florida State Seminoles and was set to play for the Baltimore Colts but a knee injury ended those dreams.

And for another great sports comedy u gotta check out the Benchwarmers. After watching this again I wish MTV would bring rock n jock sports back which nelly was the mvp the one year.

It's a good soundtrack movie with a huge cast. It's a fun watch. And, yes, Adam Sandler has done a couple of more serious roles and is actually surprisingly good. I highly recommend both UNCUT GEMS and PUNCH DRUNK LOVE. Both are outstanding Adam Sandler movies. Anyhow, Thanks for all the great content, as always! You two are a blast to hsng out with.
