Big brother Harry test chapter

Plot: The Potters were attacked, Lily survived but was left in a magical coma, leaving her three children on their own. Big Brother Harry is on a mission to protect his younger siblings from all that dare try to harm them. Harry's not the BWL. Harry will be paired with either Daphne (an older version) or Tonks. The first scene is an exact copy from the previous test chapter I wrote for this idea.

Scene 1:

Iris Potter smiled brightly after the hat sorted her into Gryffindor, she made her way to the table as the other tables cheered, though none louder than the Gryffindor table which screamed and cheered as if they'd just been given the secrets to immortal life. After sitting down and being introduced to many of her Gryffindor tables, she watched as the sorting continued.

Occasionally she would glance towards her twin brother, Daniel, who was sitting at the Ravenclaw table. Despite being born as twins, the two had many differences besides him being a boy and him being a girl. She had red hair and green eyes, apparently like their mother. Meanwhile, Daniel had chocolate-brown eyes and brown hair. She was a bit surprised that they weren't in the same house, but it made sense, Daniel liked books more than she did.

Soon the feast started, it was a bit awkward, trying to eat when everybody kept staring at her and occasionally trying to talk to her. She didn't totally believe that she was famous when her big brother told her, she had just started to consider the idea when she arrived at Hogwarts and found everyone staring at her like she was some sort of celebrity. Oh right, she was the girl who lived, a survivor of killing curses and destroyer of dark wizards.

"So," A pair of older twin boys said at the same time, judging by the red hair they were likely brothers to the boy that had been in their compartment, Ron Weasley. These were probably the twins he mentioned, Fred and George. "Nice to meet the lass who had the audacity to live," The two said with bright smiles.

"Um...thanks," She said awkwardly, not really sure what to say.

"Want a sweet?" One of them offered, holding out a red-wrapped candy.

"Oh, I..." She paused when she saw the twins stiffen just before she felt a familiar pair of hands place themselves on her shoulder.

"If I find out that she eats even one of your little prank sweets then I'm going to start having words with the pair of you," A low voice threatened. She couldn't help but smile as she looked back and saw her big brother standing behind her. Her brother had a handsome face, green eyes that were just like hers and he had messy black hair that he apparently inherited from their father. He stood there, looking tall and strong in his Slytherin uniform as he stared down the twin boys. The twin that had offered the candy had quickly pulled it back before tossing it far away.

"Don't know what you're on about," They said innocently.

"Hmm," Harry huffed.

"What's a Slytherin doing here?!" Ron blurted out.

"Visiting my sister, you got a problem with that, half-pint?" Harry asked challengingly.

"It's good to see you," Iris smiled up at him.

"You too, little lion," Harry smiled at her. "Enjoying yourself so far?"

"Yep," She chirped. "The school looks really nice,"

"Mr Potter, as a prefect, I feel I should remind you that the students are supposed to be sitting at their house tables for the sorting feast," An older redhead said pompously, thrusting his chest out.

"Well, Mr Percival Weasley," Harry began, Iris blinked, how many Weasley's were there? "As an older and more experienced prefect, along with being head boy, I feel I should remind you that I know full well what I am and am not allowed to do. There are no rules stopping me from talking to my sister for a minute, got it?" Percy didn't say anything, though he did turn an alarming shade of red before huffing and turning away.

"You're the head boy?" Hermione asked, seeming very interested. Harry pulled his badge out of his pocket before putting it on his robes, Percy scoffed at that and mumbled something under his breath. "You didn't tell me your brother was head boy," She said to Iris.

"He never told me," Iris said defensively before turning to Harry. "So...shame we're not in the same house, eh?"

"Nah, I feel like Gryffindor would suit you better," Harry said with a small smile. "Ah, I got you a sorting present." He pulled out a small golden ball and placed it in front of his sister. "Tap it with your wand," He told her. She blinked before doing as she was told, the ball suddenly transformed into a moving metal lion the size of her pinky finger. The lion let out a roar and stood proudly before walking towards her and rubbing itself against her hand.

"That's incredible!" She gasped, picking it up. "Did...did you get something for Danny as well?"

"Of course," Harry seemed almost offended that she thought it was possible for him not to have gotten him something. Pulling out another ball, a blue one this time, he tapped it with his wand and it transformed into a blue-coloured bird. Harry gently blew on it and it took flight, flying all the way over to the Ravenclaw table and landing in Daniel's hand. "I got to go before Weasley over there bursts a blood vessel," He said, kissing her head before walking off.

"So...that's your brother?" One boy asked her.

"That's Harry Potter," An older Gryffindor said. "Do not mess with him, he's the most dangerous guy in this school."

Scene 2:

"Do we really have to be following Harry?" Daniel frowned as he hurried after Iris.

"Yes, we do, I want to know what he's doing. Now, come on," She said impatiently.

"Has it maybe occurred to you that maybe he's gone to do whatever it is he normally does with his girlfriend?" Daniel sighed.

"I don't like her," Iris huffed.

"I think she's alright, besides, he doesn't like that Weasley boy you hang out with." Daniel shrugged before they turned a corner and saw that Harry was no longer in sight. "Huh?"

"Where the hell did he go?" Iris blurted out.

"Looking for someone, monkeys?" An amused voice asked from behind them.

"How the hell did you do that?" Daniel asked as they turned around to find Harry staring at them.

"Ancient samurai trick," He shrugged.

"But you're not a samurai!"

"Says you,"

Scene 3:

"You what?!" Vernon Dursley blurted out.

"Exactly what I said," Harry replied, crossing his arms. He was no longer the small child that Vernon could push around, he was now a good six feet tall, well-muscled and far beyond the attempts of intimidation that the Dursley family often tried with him. He no longer dressed in the Dursley's hand-me-downs or cheap charity shop clothes that they gave to him despite being decently rich. Now, he was dressed in expensive boots, black beans, and a grey shirt along with a black, dragon-hide jacket. "Daniel and Iris are coming with me. They're not going to live here any longer."

"Are you mad?!" His Aunt Petunia shrieked. "You can't do that!"

"I can, I filed to be their guardians in the muggle world." Harry shrugged. "You missed the court sessions to discuss their guardianship, there's not much I can do about that."

"But how?! We never heard of any sessions!" Petunia glared at him.

"Well, that's hardly my fault," Harry said innocently. "Either way, they're coming with me."

"But you can't!"

"I will," Harry shrugged once more.

"I won't allow it!" Vernon shouted.

"You can't stop me,"

"You don't even have the money to afford to look after them!" Vernon pointed out triumphantly.

"Yes, he does," Daniel snorted as he and Iris dragged their suitcases into the room. "He's a professional quidditch player, in our world that's the equivalent of a professional football player. He's rich and loaded,"

"And that's not including the money our parents left for us," Iris added brightly.

"As you can see, we're off," Harry said before gesturing for his siblings to go.

"But...that Dumbledore man, he said they must stay here!" Petunia tried once more.

"I know what he says," Harry said darkly. "I no longer much care for his opinion."

Scene 4:

"Dolores, I'm afraid that there has been a mistake of some kind," Professor Dumbledore said, staring at the woman who had just arrived at Hogwarts.

"Mistake? I'm afraid that I'm not sure what you mean, Dumbledore," Dolores Umbridge said in her sickly sweet voice. "I am here to teach at Hogwarts, as instructed by the Minister."

"Madam Umbridge, the ministry was to supply Hogwarts with a teacher if - and only if - the school could not provide one. Fortunately, I've managed to procure one a day or two ago. Did you not receive my letter?" He asked, a tad bit too innocently.

"A new...what teacher?!" She demanded, sure that there wasn't anyone who was interested in taking the position in such short notice. Suddenly the fireplace lit up with green flames.

"Ah, this should be him," Dumbledore smiled, he knew that they were not on the same page on a lot of topics, namely the Potter twins. But they both agreed that it'd be better to limit this woman's influence in the school. A second later, Harry Potter stepped out of the fire.

"I'm back, bitches!"

A.N: I couldn't resist the TFS reference. As for the pairing, like I said at the top, the options will be either an older version of Daphne Greengrass or Tonks.

Comments

Love the idea! Would be great if it were pure comedy. Making him a teacher would be bad if it comes too early in the story, since teaching would take a lot of his time for romance. So maybe not start with Harry in his last year, here is my idea: 1st- A prologue with Harry in his fifth year. Here will be the introductions of the characters and of what happened in the siblings childhoods. Would love some fluffy moments with the siblings (pure familiar love, not incest you pervs!) in their time of hardship with the Dursleys. In the romance aspect, a love triangle with the final choice still undecided. With his siblings with the Dursleys, Harry can't help but to worry about them (The last 5 years helping to diminish the feeling, but still there), so he doesn't focus on romance, but has interest and interactions with Daphne and Tonks. 2nd- Sorcerer's stone (Harry's sixth year). The siblings arrival to Hogwarts ease Harry's worries. Iris (mildly possessive of her only true caretaker) and Daniel (being the voice of reason but still a little mischievous) make a great comedic duo, throwing the love triangle's interactions into chaos. 3rd- Chamber of secrets Head boy Harry going overprotective mode! Iris being the only parselmouth of the siblings is labeled the heir, but is protected by Harry. The comedy comes from him also protecting her from Lockhart's attempts of approaching her for fame. 4th- Prisoner of Azkaban. Out of Hogwarts, Harry begins the pursuit of legal custody (he already had previous plans, but could only implement them after graduation). Then Sirius escape happens, but with access to his parents' will, drama unfolds. Legal battles force Harry a little into politics. He starts his career as auror or quidditch player. Wormtail apprehended??? 5th- Goblet of Fire. Harry gets custody. At odds with Dumbledore, that only increase with Iris' becoming a champion in the Triwizard tournament. Harry trains to help Iris (This helps him become a teacher next year). Shit hits the fan at the end of the year with Voldemort's return (as always). 6th- Order of the Fenix Finally Harry as a teacher! Now Iris gets a stick to beat back all of the girls that develop crushes on Harry. Daniel sells one of Harry's socks to the higher bidder. I really hope you choose this story, even if you don't use my ideas. I love your works.

Rorand Crusoe

This one and the God of War one are my favorites in the poll. For the pairing I do like both Daphne and Tonks as a potential pairing, I’d you want to do both go ahead, if not either one would be good
