I think its more like its shown that Kurgan broke both his arms in the scene previously, so Garfiel instead shoots himself straight up with his blessing of earth spirits, gets on the ceiling, then shoots right back down at kurgan and bites his neck off (you can see a chunk of his neck is bitten off when theres the closeup of his face before he crumbles)

I think it’s just implied, it looked like he did like a superspeed kind of attack at the end which whatever kind of punch/kick he did was enough to break him

I stopped watching Re:Zero after Season 2 but I think this episode gave me the motivation to give the series another chance. Because that fight was incredible! I'm also impressed with the emotion that they put into the fights, such as with Wilhelm. I gotta say, the main fight this episode, against that Machamp-looking guy reminded me of the animation style of Vincent Chansard. Maybe he was involved with the episode (?)

i normally dont comment etc but just wanted to let you know about that scene was Animated by "Vincent Chansard" hes a freelancer animator from France, (Previously worked at Toei) and have been working on alot of future One piece stuff, Sukuna vs Mahoraga (pool scene) etc, He has a very noticeable style so you gonna recognize his style in future. cant wait to see more from him in the future too. Anyways love the vibes at always!
