I don't think you know what that word means. It cant be "objectively" better, because that implies that something is better regardless of opinion or outside influence. Something about how well characters are acted can ONLY be evaluated by people and by their opinions. So it cannot be objective. You can say its subjectively better, thats the word you're looking for. But brother, since it is subjective and it is a matter of opinion, its your opinion that the dub is better, its my opinion that the Japanese is better (and yes I do speak a little Japanese, not a lot but after 35 years of watching anime, I picked up quite a bit). And Nick, this is HIS channel, and its his opinion and preference to watch it in Japanese as well. Its not up to you or I to control how he watches something. Saying its one of the best dubs is fine, but its also like saying that I give the best kick to the shins than this other guy gives kicks to the shins. Its still kicking you in the shin, but the way I do it is better? Either way, everybody can prefer what they like, you like it the way you like it, I like it the way I like it. One of the few anime I can safely recommend in sub or dub. Roy, Edward and the Homunculi are (IMO) better in dub, while Al and the military in general are better sub. Winry and Pinako and about equal, and so are the chimeras. Scar is better in sub, but Füher King Bradley is better dubbed, and so is father. Truth is better in sub.

Give dub a try, I'm usually a sub puritan cause I don't want things to get lost in translation and what the intended experience, but this show is one of the very few exceptions, the Dub is incredible and probs one of the best of all time.

Please, please, please, try the Dub... idk how far in advance you do the older anime but like... yeah... imho, leagues apart, literally everyone sounds so much better in the dub. And like, this isn't my #1 anime, but if I had to rank it... probably second favorite to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Only other series I've watched at least 3 times over by now... maybe 4? I couldn't give a concrete number tbh... though Gurren Lagann, that's 9 full watches. Hence why I'd probably place this at number 2... also, you'll know when you get to it, but favorite intro is Golden Time Lover! Just saying that now, hands down my favorite Opening in FMAB. In OG FMA though ya gotta go with "Ready Steady Go!" Still a banger!

This is one of if not my favorite anime and I have watched it in both Sub and Dub, for me the Dub has better emotion and the voice actors really nailed their performances, but the Sub does have a better flow with a lot of characters dialogs and the jokes in the humorous scenes.
