The issue is their quirks work differently. Mirio was able to make a suit of his hair because it was a part of himself. For Yaomomo, what's important is her fat, and she ejects what she creates from her body. There's no go around for that really, except for more tactically revealing clothes and improving her creation to create around the clothes.

The fact that Mirio can have his costume stay on him while using his quirk and characters like Yaomomo can't honestly what irked me about her hero costume. Btw when Kirishima awakened his Quirk like he said, you can see his scar on his right eye brow. You can notice it from his debut too. But I always liked Kirishima and wanted to see more of him and this episode was great. Shame they kinda got shafted again soon after.

James Perrott, My brother in christ, you really are defending MHA shippers way, way too hard. I get what you're trying to say but buddy, its really casting you in a weird light. As a 35+ year anime veteran, I've some weird, WEIRD ways that anime fans celebrate their fandom. I've seen any number of Rule34 scenarios done up by fans. I've seen dojinshi of some characters that I'd never thought someone would ever do that with, but truly nothing is off the table with these things. Hell I used to draw the women in Dragon Ball in lewd ways myself. So no, I'm never surprised by what I see. But there is a difference between surprise, condoning it, and condemning it. There's nothing that surprises me anymore, but there are things that I can condone, and there are things that I condemn. I condemn the sexualization of child characters. It just goes too far for me, man. I'm not saying with your defense there that you are condoning it, but you kinda look like you're more on the side of those that DO condone that sort of thing. Its weird man.

Eh, i think it's more that there are some people who view a segment of the MHA fans as "weirdos" because they ship child characters together with their fan-fiction stuff. When in reality, its not that many MHA fans that do that, the ones that do give the rest of the fans a bad name, to be honest. But in reality, ANY anime series with even a slight bit of fanbase will have the weirdo's that take things to that odd level, where when outsiders see that stuff it puts them off.

That's your opinion. I'm just saying that the damage he received is much more evident in the manga. He says "ouch" in the anime and it doesn't really reflect how badly his injuries were. The episode about Mirio is quite possibly the single best anime episode I have watched. The Rock Lee v Gaara fight is similar, but stretched out. My Hero packs the same amount of development and emotion that most animes take 5 episodes for into one and it makes the emotion of it just feel so much more raw. IDK when your thinking of doing MHA week. But honestly I would wait for Season 6 to do it. When I first rewatched MHA, binging Season 6 was a fuckin EXPERIENCE. I loved it even more than when I first watched it. If you do two episodes a day, each day for a week, you could complete the (arguably) best arc in the entire anime so far. Episode 1 to 14.

Horikoshi-sensei is really great at writing characters, the amount of unique characters in this show with great character development, AND he was also writing Vigilantes (which is a spin off manga in the same universe). The guy truly has a talent to create relatable and interesting characters that you wanna see how the tackle life.

This episode with Kirishima hits harder when you go back and notice that he aced the entrance exam for UA, he had the 2nd highest points after Bakugo. It shows that hard work really does pay off!

Kirishima's the man. The anime doesn't do him nearly enough justice as the manga, but I still love this episode. People often overlook that he's hardening his actual skin. When Rappa hit him, Kirishima's skin is literally falling off. (The manga depicts this better because you can see him actively bleeding from where his skin cracked off) The next few episodes of this arc are great too. I love this season.
