More specifically, he was wondering when it would happen in the anime, which is even more reasonable because animes typically do not maintain the same time progression per episode in the story.

Also, Nick completely missed when Allmight told Midoriya he only has like a year left before the incident happen because he just didn't read it at all and was wondering when. He's rarely been missing stuff but I think that he should at least rewind it again during important scenes with details like that
