I think the one who attached to this guy is you man xD People here are paid to see his exclusive contents so it does make sense if they get upset. It's different with Twitch donation where you can still watch and comment when you don't give him any money. But here, people are already paid for what he has promised before. Maybe $3/$6 isn't that much, but if we compile, he could get over 10K per month from this paid member. If you order food and the service says it would come in 15 mins but in fact that food come an hour later, would you get upset? it's kinda similar but way bigger because it could be late for a week lmao. So it's like he, content creator, is the seller and people here, paid member/fans, are the customer. What does he sell? he sells his exclusive content here (HxH, BC, Twitch replay, etc). What do customer buy? his exclusive content here. So when customer don't get what was promised to them, of course it makes sense for them to get upset. So it's not something like they attach to him, it's just customer-seller relation. Even Patreon itself says it's for growing business, so you can think it as customer-seller relation. But since it's between content creator and fans, it's beyond more than selling-buying product. It's also for growing his community.

I’m sorry, but it’s genuinely your fault for getting this attached to an online figure who doesn’t know you. and regarding the promises, I fully understand where the frustration comes from there, but there was context and pretense to where those promises came from. He was getting a lot of hate “criticizing” the way he reacts and so he promised a lot of adjustments. It backfired, yes, and now he’s gonna try to make it up again. I don’t blame you for not getting excited or anything, I’m not interested either, this patreon is just for when I’m bored and decide to catch up on his stuff every few weeks, but getting actually upset that he fails to keep promises he overshoots cuz he was pressured into it is kind of unfair.

Even if it isn’t, the point still stands, you shouldn’t be THIS upset over not watching a video when you wanted to. It isn’t even new content man, you’ve watched the show before and you wanna see what people think of it, But why is that such an integral part of your schedule? Most people’s reason is very likely to be they had nothing else to fill that time or that there isn’t anything else to do. Others are likely just projecting what they want onto him or are doing the whole dumbass parasocial relationship lifestyle. i agree he definitly needs an editor, but i dont think it would be better for him to react to shorter anime on stream, if u mean 13/24 episodes animes then i agree, but 48 episodes anime like fire force re zero etc because these shows are very story/action packed and they are way more enjoyable on main channel or patreon eclusive since he dont pay attention to dialogues and visuals when he is on stream

Honestly Nick I think it’s time to get an editor. I and most of the community think that recording, editing and uploading 5x a week on main, streams almost every day and also exclusive content on Patreon is to much for you. Especially when you couldn’t even keep up with your last schedule. This will just be better for everyone, especially you. And I think moving one piece from stream content to main channel content would be extremely beneficial. Each episode of one piece on stream usually take 40-50 mins for you and that pace is simply just not going to cut it for such a slow paced and incredibly long anime. I would instead recommend reacting to shorter animes on stream such as Hells paradise, blue lock, fire force or anime’s that are a little bit longer like fullmetal alchemist and Haikyuu. These shows aren’t as spoiler heavy compared to one piece so chat shouldn’t ruin it as much.
