OHHHHH , YO! Back in the first episode of season 2, when they’re all being detained to be monitored in case another one of the recruits turns out to be a Titan like Annie is, Reiner told Sasha there was no way she could hear footsteps. If there were titans outside, that would have to mean Wall Rose was breached. Then when Hennig(? I think her name was?) popped in to say yeah, myth confirmed, Titan party incoming- go back and watch Reiner and Bertholdt’s faces. Reiner looks PANICKED. “HAS the wall been breached?!” - at the time it just registered as a normal reaction to scary news but holy shit. Is THAT why they were so spooked? Were they thinking “oh shit. Oh shit. they’re here to collect us and we haven’t done ANYTHING as far as the mission went. AND we lost two titans doing it.” What a connection if so. wow lol

He had a road map to do it but he was so scarred from everything that he kept going. I just realized that maybe that famous quote came from Reiner. Sheesh. Zaddy Eren has made his appearance. It'll be interesting to see how your feelings go in the next few episodes. Oh and no I don't understand these folks with their indoctrination. Reason why the animation style change is because after Season 3, the original studio: WIT Studio, couldn’t handle the anime with all the other anime’s they had to do, so MAPPA Studio picked it up for Season 4, which is why the style is different, mainly because most of the anime is made in CGI.

Yeah this one messed me up. Seeing Reiner's backstory and that he wasn't always a hardass, he had a soft side to him that got crushed through terrible circumstances. It was crazy and so important to show the audience! I definitely wasn't sure about the ending after, but then you see the eye and it's like, "There's no way that's not him." Then also wondering, "What is he doing there? How'd he get there? What's his plan now and where's everyone else?" Hope the family emergency thing went ok and that everyone is alright!
