In the world of Norse mythology, Frigg, the goddess of marriage and Freyja, the goddess of love, were two of the most powerful beings. They were both married, but their marriages were not exactly filled with love and passion. One day, as they were both walking in the lush, green fields of Asgard, they felt drawn to each other. They soon realized that they had fallen in love with each other. But they knew that their love was forbidden, as they were both married to other gods. So they kept their love a secret, meeting in secret places where they could be alone and express their love freely.
