King hit him with the Avdol YES! I AM! Sanji is such a tragic character, bro takes so many L’s so frequently that even his huge power scaling glow up is a tragic moment of self-reflection. Hopefully he can get to the place Chopper eventually did where he learns to reclaim his traumas for the sake of self-growth and protecting his friends “If it’s for him, I’ll even become a monster…”

2024-08-17 21:19:56 +0000 UTCone of my favorite things about the way toei structures their episodes is the way they tease a concept in one episode and then fully expand on it in the next. even in episode 1 they constantly mention zoro and show him as the to be continued cutoff, and then episode 2 is all about luffy and zoro becoming crewmates. this episode is a perfect conclusion to the teaser last episode and throughout sanjis story
