2024-08-16 05:06:08 +0000 UTCPreet this season is a bit messy I can't deny that, could be better? for sure! but over all it stayed pretty faithful to the book, if you read the book and you're a little familier with storytelling and adapting, I think you would understand why is the reason and why it is pretty difficult to adapt this part of the book, I'm not defending them at all I just think this plus the writers strikes influenced a bit, BUT don't get me wrong here, I mean the sexual kiss just after she JUST confessed his FATHER graped her MULTIPLE times GOT her pregnant and decided to stabbed her in the neck and the uterus, leaving her for death was so extremely odd to say at least for me, like 😀 are you for real in what world as a writer do you think, OH this is the correct moment to kiss someone who just confessed that kind of event (IS NOT IN THE BOOKS) it's like two females HAVE to be in a sexual relationship otherwise they can't not be just friends oh no... it was so out of place like read the room geez, it wouldn't be faithful but I wouldn't be mad if they have done it another time but in THAT moment after THAT confession 🤨😑 so it was definitely a writers decision, I think if they had finished in ep 7 or an extended versions of ep 7 it might have been a better final, definitely blue balled AF but I understand why they had to end it that way
