To this day I still cry at these episodes. Sorry you felt set up Hus but since the episode leads into each other like that and are just so super depressing it was really a warning, kinda like ripping the band aid off fast to avoid too much pain better to watch it all together. This arc was so tough not seeing anyone die except in flashbacks and suddenly BAM there goes Ace, I literally got spoiled on his death and had to put one piece down for a month because I knew it would hurt and even when I finished I had to stop for a while longer cause the pain is real.

It was a set up straight from the start, all these 'will of p' non-deaths and shit, got you cracking jokes that deaths don't happen in one piece so you might stress but you're never THAT worried any real names are gonna die. You're worried about seeing Whitebeard go down in his final moments but then this...maaaaan. It hurts. Of all people to have to say goodbye to, they made sure this one hurt.
