2020-08-05 13:00:52 +0000 UTCYou really comprehended Subaru's perspective in this episode much better than any of the other reactors I've seen. Respect. I recommend that you re-watch episode 18 of season 1 with all of this in mind. It's a much more powerful scene in retrospect.

2020-08-03 05:30:22 +0000 UTCI feel like the trial is for mixed blood people (subaru) had to face his past about wanted to be better than his dad. Subaru's mom and dad made the point to say that he is half of both of them and he can take his time to learn to live as just "Subaru". If this is Subaru's trial I'm scared to see how Emilia's trial is going to be like. I imagine it's more intense being half elf and half (human?).

2020-08-02 23:56:29 +0000 UTC"Don't act like some big-shot just because of your Daddy's name," Subaru epsiode 13 - talking down to the knights in the castle. He's so well written it's not even funny. Could definetly relate with Subaru, since highschool we were always going out - doing drugs, clubbing (18 years old is legal drinking age in Australia). Eventually, half of my mates started getting deposits for their houses, stopped going out etc and the other half were just doing even harder drugs and going down and down. Luckily I managed to break the habit and start being productive with my life, me and my mates (that aren't in the drug hole) meet up for a coffee or lunch sometimes now but realising my surroundings at that moment in my life was very difficult and eye opening.
