Watch in Sub Naruto I actually don't mind part 1 Naruto dub but I'm not confident you all will switch to sub for part 2. I think the Sub is better overall though and I have watched Naruto for 15+ years. look at it I have seen it with many youtubers I feel like you would enjoy sub better overall though. It just resonates pretty good in dub for the part 1 of naruto. But its not the exception. Just watch sub lot of these jokers act like dub is just the best thing in the world when it comes to Naruto so don't fall for their tactics especially when they haven't witnessed both like me. And I know the original sub is 100% better.

I'm cool with either one the issues I have with Naruto are lots of flashbacks and filler but you can skip the filler. The main issue with One Piece is the pacing in later arcs. I can't stand slow pacing and the way the anime drags things out, but if it wins its all good. By the way I voted for Naruto. I really like the english dub in Naruto but when I got to Shippuden I watched in sub. So I vote for sub

Naruto Sub, simply because it's "shorter" than One Piece. But you could also watch it in Dub and switch to Sub later down the line as the Dub gets quite bad for some reason later down the line.

Eh the thing is i know the one piece manga is great but i hear the anime doesn't quite do it justice like obviously it has its moments its adapting the source material after all but i hear the pacing gets pretty bad like theyll take a couple chapters and spread it out over a ridiculous amount of episodes thats why i decided if i ever do start OP itll just be the manga for me

Pretty much in the later episodes you can skip 50-70% of most episodes and get the cliff notes unless your really that slow and can't catch on. I don't know how they managed to make the show THAT slow in the later episodes but they do.

Honestly with everyone fighting. I rather they just chose what they want to watch. But for my 2 cents, Both has their flaws, but since they’re exposed to Naruto already and watched some of it. They can finish reacting to it anytime really in the future. I would say give One piece a chance first. This would also get their channel some more views and exposure. The pacing in the later episodes are bad, but they can honestly skip some of it and it wouldn’t even matter that much. After reaching the latest arc/episodes they can just pause the show or react to it less and focus on other shows. Other reactors who’ve watched One Piece loved it. It’d be nice if they are able to join the journey too.

I like one piece but it was sort a slow burn for me like shit didn’t start getting good to alabasta which is like 80 episodes in...shit had got real in naruto after episode 12 so in my opinion they should watch naruto because the series is already finished not including boruto and they can get through it a lot quicker

I LOVE Naruto, don't get me wrong, but One Piece is by far the better series, and I say that as someone that grew up with Naruto, and would consider it a series that really got me into anime. I didn't even watch One Piece until I was an adult, but it is an undeniable masterpiece.

naruto and one piece are pretty much polar opposites. if you want arcs that will literally leave you at the edge of your seat, but deal with the overarching bad pacing that one piece has where they waste so many episodes on bs then watch one piece. if you want arcs that have some of the best fights in anime and some of the greatest antagonists in anime with pain, itachi etc.. but have to deal with flashbacks then do naruto.

One Piece anime starts sucking after like ~500 episodes, and purely because of Toei animation cutting corners, but the writing roughly stays A. It's still fire. Naruto anime starts sucking after ~135 episodes, with the same art issues, with C-grade writing. Imo anyways.

This is gonna be a close one seeing how the poll is right now. But I choose One Piece sub. As much as I love part 1 of Naruto and the fights, the story kinda diminishes and tons of characters get left in the back burner and thus becomes irrelevant. Seeing how yall loved Hunter x Hunter and loved the details of that show I find you'll be really into the One Piece world building. In terms of episode count both shows are similar (assuming you guys are planning to go all the way to Boruto for Naruto). Either way I think either of these shows will cause the channel to get a ton of subs and take you guys to 70 - 100k youtube subs easily.

That's the thing: One Piece has so many of those moments that fans just lose track. Imagine the peak most emotional moment in Naruto, that one moment where no other episode hit the same notes....... yeah One Piece has about a hundred of those. Maybe a lot of people in here just happened to be mostly Naruto diehards, which is cool. Lots of worse shounen to recommend. Pre-Shippuuden Naruto (so up to ep ~135) is absolutely amazing.

With 7 episodes per week? Gotta give it to One Piece. Despite what the odd naysayers will tell you, you don't become the greatest selling manga of all time or the 3rd best selling comic of all time, by being mediocre or bad. Admittedly, the anime doesn't do the series justice (though this doesn't become noticeable until the 400-500 episode range). Despite this fact, the anime still has made reactors fall head over heels in love with the series. One Piece truly is a wonderful journey👍

One Piece is about 900 episodes and still running. Naruto is split into 3 different parts, reaching up to about 870+ episodes. Part 3 is also still running currently. I don't know why people keep saying it will take forever to finish One Piece when they're so close. I love em both and would be fine with either tho.

Try reading it, it’s way faster, arguably better, and if you start off from where you left off you’ll be actually pretty far into the beginning. Episode 45 is chapter 96 in the manga, please consider it! I think one piece is too good to miss out on personally, but even then your opinion is still subjective, giving it another shot might be worth it though.

Both of these shows have their flaws and pretty gaping ones too. If there is one thing can truly be honest about though is that I can name several dope moments from Naruto that are truly memorable over the years. Some real nostalgic and inspiring and influential moments. Either way Naruto Sub

My vote goes for One Piece. Naruto is good and I did enjoy it a lot but the power-scalling and world building don't appeal to me as much nowadays althought they once did. As for One Piece I'm always taken back, even on rewatchs, how much imagination and creativity an author can have.

lol I love how people say that an opinion is objective. "better" is by a word that is by its very nature SUBJECTIVE. Just because it seems like a no brainer for you doesn't mean that it's objective. I tried One Piece and got to episode 45 and stalled hard. I'm not saying it's bad, just that it failed to grab me like Naruto did. That is totally my subjective opinion. If you do Naruto, do the sub, it might be less cringy at times.

One Piece better written than Naruto, objectively. Actual well written characters throughout, vs Kishimoto barely started writing his characters good post time skip. One of the best squads in anime. Whereas Naruto so mid outside Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi, and Shikamaru, and Jiraiya. One Piece world building is better, the emotional moments better, people rag the artstyle but its just hella stylistic don't be a clown. I will say the fights early on easily go to Naruto free. Also would give the soundtrack to Naruto. But the characters are just so damn stupid in the first half. I ain't even trying to talk down on Naruto, its just obviously the inferior of the two. Shit half of the first parts story beats are essentially copies of HxH
