You'll find that Nen is probably the most complex power system in almost any series you may watch. Even currently in the manga which is way past the anime, they're still describing more in-depth about the 6 different Nen-types. Nen is a school subject in itself

She is a Specialist because her power doesnt fall within any of the other 5 Nen Categories. I'm sure they already said this in the episode, but her father uses her fortunes to help him run the mafia.
