So as the title suggests, we meet Momo's "alleged" first love, Jiji - who makes me long for the days of Aira living her MC fantasy! But also, the title might focus on our sweet Okarun - who works through why he's possibly jealous with Jiji's closeness to Momo...leading to a BIZARRE chase that might have our man Ken realizing...who his first love is as well!

Jiji definitely DOES make an impression!! I was surprised by how he was portrayed in this! but yeah, now Momo and Okarun have their own triangles created that aren't really triangles - I agree, it can work in a good way! And yes, the "jock" character being actually a goofball that's seemingly softer is a fresh change of pace! I really like the dynamic - even as it's making me sit on my hands - that Jiji is bringing to contrast Momo and Okarun. But yeah, I do miss Aira! :P Thank you for the comment!

I definitely agree that the slope is Fahrenheit 451 adjacent and needs to be more "specific" to just entail AI and not pieces of manmade art that is clearly NOT CP but something entirely different. *sighs* I feel you on this one...we can only hope that it gets some different teeth or doesn't pass, which is a sad thing to say. But yeah, Jiji is a major goof! I don't blame you for protest! I hope it goes well; you'll have to let us know! Thank you for the comment!

As a resident of the Lone Star State, our state senate has passed SB 20. https://legiscan.com/TX/text/SB20/id/3171915. Why am I bringing this up here on a reaction to Dandadan? Because if this is made law by Governor hot wheels, I could be arrested and charged with a felony. Now I agree with the spirit of the bill, I do not agree with the vagueness of the wording. As you know, these are minors put in compromising situations and to some non anime enjoyer, may be interpreted as obscene, therefore criminal in nature. I have been on this earth for 56 years and have seen the popularity of anime and manga wax and wain over the years. This bill may be the nail in the coffin to a hobby I take refuge in. It is my escape place and it is mine. If you didn’t know, Texas is the hub of anime content in the US. Crunchyroll is headquartered here in Coppell and before that, Funimation was based in Flower Mound. Now, will this bill even become law? It might! Is it unconstitutional? Yes! But, really, we live in the darkest timeline and , well, that doesn’t seem to make a difference. The danger is that this will be copied by other states as they crack down on AI content that involves CP. ( I do agree with this, but it would be nice to actually have laws that protect and provide for children instead of more hollow inaction) this will hurt the arts, animation, queer representation, anything conservatives don’t like, any expression from any vulnerable groups…. It’s a slippery slope to Fahrenheit 451. Oh! Jiji is a real goof isn’t he! He better not try to kiss Momo or I’ll be heading for the slammer! Oh well, maybe I’ll get free healthcare in there….. I have over 1000 copies of manga I have collected over a lifetime. Some are themselves banned in other countries! I am felon material. On the bright side, Husband, Sister and I will be hitting the streets on Saturday in protest.

2025-04-03 03:28:03 +0000 UTCAh, yes, Jiji... he really makes an impression, doesn't he? Lol. He definitely doesn't have the personality I thought he would have from his looks and that little teasing introduction on the previous episode. It is fun, though, that the playing field is equaled for both Momo and Okarun. By which I mean, that both of them now have someone to be jealous about. I don't know, it's just funny to me, but in a good way. Something I appreciated a ton, was seeing how the cool, presumably athletic, and charismatic character is the one to mess up the battle and the more awkward, shy, and softer character being the one that is actually super competent and saves the day. Especially seeing as how Jiji goes to "protect" Momo and just ends up being a hindrance; while Okarun trusts, from day one, really, that Momo is capable on her own and just goes in to work alongside her, and they, as we've seen mutltiple times, make a great team together. Yeah, I missed Aira in this episode, as well. She's just so funny, though she certainly doesn't realizes that.
