It gets a bit bloggy from here, so if you don't wanna read, don't worry about it! I'll just be talking a bit about how 2023 went for me (note: depression, etc)

Y'all, we made it. We MADE IT. It honestly started out real well in 2023, at least as far as I can remember, but near the end half I really lost myself, which was definitely apparent in how much art I created and how diligent I was with my Patreon responsibilities. For that I apologize. I depend on your support and I feel like I often disappoint.
A lot has happened in the last few months, and at the same time so has a lot of nothing. For example my living situation changed (unfortunately I haven't moved out yet, I'm still in the same place, but things shifted in my home life) and that took a toll on me mentally and also physically. I gained a lot more responsibilities, and my sleep schedule became more irregular than it already is, which affected my depression more than I expected. I entered a fog that took me months to wade out of, and during it I was only peripherally aware of how much time was passing and how much I was missing and failing to do. I'm not proud of it. Honestly I can barely remember half of it.
At the start of this year I'm feeling a bit more myself, thankfully. I got out of my art block! I can finally resume commissions that I've slowed in doing, and to those clients I am sorry. Hopefully this year I'll be able to find some solutions to my problems, and to those who will stick with me during this time I am truly grateful. I don't know how to fully express how thankful I am for you all. I'm going to find a way to make it up to you.
