Tbh I don't remember this movie very well because I had a deep deep fear of Tim Curry as a child and even though I love young!Cruise's face a lot (from before we all knew his dark truths) I never really watched this more than once or twice :( So I read the synopsis and scripts to refresh lol~ I figure in this version Will is a combo of Jack/Lili and maybe he gets wounded by the unicorn in their first confrontation and it scars, and that's why Hannibal eventually wins him over in the end.....

I will try to watch this again sometime though. Eventually. I'm working on it lol.
