I’m absolutely loving these developments. You’re doing a great job at throwing us all for a loop! I kind of figured that Esh was going to be the “hardened cop” kind of archetype. But he’s really developing into someone completely fresh and unexpected. Even Jonah is thrown off. He seems to be used to cops fitting into a hard edged little box. Not the case with Esh! Augh! I can’t wait for the next few pages!

I was expecting this to be slow burn, and now I am both shocked and pleasantly surprised. ❤️ I read and then re-read both pages and I’m grinning like an idiot. Super super excited to see where these two go from here.
