Sorry to hear about YouTube. It is pretty much a different audience that takes time to build. It's a tough season to attract attention in that audience with three big titles being carpet bombed by reactors. The flip side is that I here some of the big names are taking strikes so it might be the right move. Ep 15 The Couple Aura grows! Neither Amane nor the editor are buying Gojo’s denials. Again with the walk away scene just showing their legs and the ep 1 head tilt up, their growing synchronization of these little moves are just a delightfully subtle indication of just how close they are becoming. Seeing it in motion just has so much more impact than the manga panels. The Karaoke scene hits different in the manga since these two events were switched for the anime. Gojo and Marin’s conversation with Amane sets up the realization that Non-chan was the only person who has put him down. EP 16 I loved the opening shot teasing the climax of the episode. CloverWorks is really flexing. Look at all the details of class 1-5! I noticed NPC’s that never caught my attention while reading the manga. Look That shot from the front side angle of the class. All of the characters are so detailed you almost don’t notice Marin is in the frame, I worried about production quality with CW doing three shows this season but so far it’s been nothing but an improvement on the great work of S1. Then the shift to the shojo art style.💯 As usual, the fictional source mixes from several IRL sources. I see elements from Maid-sama, Ouran High School Host Club and Maria Watches Over Us. Each of the cosplay source stories have some bearing on Gojo and Marin's story. Some are metaphors of their state, some foreshadowing. In this arc it is very obvious. Koyomi serves as a metaphor for Gojo and Rei for Marin. Gojo is not feeling worthy yet and Marin is stymied at expressing her feelings in a believable way due to her past antics. Musings by Daenon did a video essay on it ,but I wouldn't watch it if you don't want to be spoiled as it covers the whole manga. If I were forced to make the very hard choice of a favorite arc of the manga, this one we’re starting would be it. You can already see the impact it will have on Gojo's growth and the hints about the direction Marin’s character arc will take.
