I read all the books multiple times and I admit I had the same disappointments so it took me a bit to warm up to the LA. It really took a re watch just before S2 for me to come to peace with it and I really started to appreciate it in S2. I have seen some fairly well performing reacts from non-readers for whom it hits differently.

Managing a whole ass reaction channel with a schedule on top of having a job is nuts, you do a good job with maintaining that energy (though it is fun to see you say that you think about anime at work sometimes lmao) I'm absolutely here for gaming content as well, never played League but I'd enjoy your journey into HoYoVerse ^^ do hope to see you one day cover Honkai Impact 3rd stuff on that topic, it's a phenomenal game though covering content for that game as a reaction channel isn't as easy as doing so with Genshin or Star Rail unfortunately, so perhaps later down the line For streams, I would like to come by more, I don't use twitch much anymore but also like you'd always go live at ~3am for me + mainly for shows I didn't watch so I couldn't come by, so uhh hoping to change that this year myself BUUUUT that's another year gone!! Looking forward to wha you'll do and implement this year, and once again wish you all the best with going full time. For

2024-12-31 23:34:16 +0000 UTCWhile I would agree there is a dedicated fan base to The Wheel of Time; I'm not sure how many of them care for the live action. For one thing the whole "oh anyone could be the Dragon" approach was unnecessary and took away from the work. As a huge fan of the books it seemed weird to me that they took that approach and somethings even directly contradicted not only characteristics of the characters but also their entire arcs as laid out in the books. Admittedly that is just my own personal gripes however so who knows maybe there is an audience for it. I just don't remember any praise for the live action.
