In Japan, elementary school is 1st–6th, middle school is 7th–9th, and high school is 10th–12th. If he was just starting middle school, then that is 7th grade, and she would've been in 9th grade. So he should of been around 13–14 and her at least 15–16. Melt really shined so brightly in this episode. He made a huge mistake on a job, realized he cannot just rely on his looks alone, and began actively working to improve and I. AM. ABOUT. IT!! In the end, passionate and hardworking guys are such husband material. Melt might just be my favorite male character. Can't wait for more Himekawa. This season is stellar, and I'm aching for something only manga readers would get. Won't spoil tho
