DAMMIT, I read it too fast. OKAY NEW THOUGHTS OMG AKI IS THE BOSS’ SON?! I should’ve seen that coming, I mean I assumed he was someone’s son but not the HEIR TO POWER. Or something like that, idk I could be overthinking so much but good god this is crazy. Poor young Kai and his mom, thinks things are about to get better and she DIES. These people are insane, and the fact that these kind of people actually exist is insane!! (Quick lore drop; My uncle escaped from prison, ran away to Mexico and then got murdered by the Mexican mafia. I’ve had a few family murders happen, met one at a funeral, so I know first hand that they exist. Lucky for me, I haven’t been entirely affected by any of it besides missing some loved ones). ANYWAYYYYY, this is so good, I’m literally obsessed with it, and I can’t wait to read more
