S2 is the greatest single season of slice of life I've ever seen. I love all the seasons but this one really sets the tone for what the series was really about. Glad they get to see it for then first time. My favorite slice of life ever

Krakatoa64

I’d say he’s very smart regardless of all that lol

Pretty sure it was top 3 in their year...at the subject Japanese. So very different from top 3 students in japan lol. And hes more observant than smart. And very self conscious and self aware. Hes more normal than we give him credit for. Which is why it hurts more since hes not actually some cold hearted sociopath. He feels things and it hurts but hes so used to it he kind of just takes it like he gave up.

So excited for the rest of the season, cant wait its iconic

Hikki managed to keep Hayama's group the same but sacrificed his own relationships :( The festival arc end with the teacher telling Hikki to reflect on how his actions hurt not just him but the people that care about him and now I cant stop thinking about how hurtful may have been see the person you like (?) confess to another girl right in front of you.

Rodrigo García

You know, Hikigaya kind of looked like a frog in the first season but this season, especially at 21:44, he reminds me of like a crow or some kind of bird. (Also, Yui stocks go up. That scene was really good.)

People hate Hikigaya's methods, but they are always 100% effective. Nothing changed in Hayama's friend group like everyone wanted, and Tobe didn't get rejected. The only harm was done to Hikigaya. He thinks there is no point since he doesn't care what others think of him, and he also believes no one cares about him. He operates like Batman, and on top of that, he is incredibly smart—he was one of the top three students in Japan, according to the light novel. What I generally find is that smart people like to be alone because normal people don't operate on their wavelength.
