I feel like Mark is picturing Sinclair living it up in a penthouse. But we saw at the end of season 1 that they're basically just putting him to work. Like prison labor but with more science.

Doing that even after what Mark has done like fight his dad to the brink of death and fought another viltrumite for the people of Earth. Mark has showed countless times his for humanity especially because his mom his human. Mark did mess up on the way he handled talking to Cecil but I think his anger is valid because his best friend and his boyfriend was a victim. Which Sinclair never got any time serve for his crimes.

One must always have contingency plans. Appreciate the sensible and nuanced discussions/takes you ladies have regarding morally gray/ambiguous stories like this. Cecil ideology gets results, I always tend to agree with the more pragmatic side of things but I think before the fight if Mark could put up a good argument that showed result then Cecil would listen
