Similar to "dangers in my heart", the first couple of episodes of S1 are the weakest part of the series and that it starts kinda basic and superficial. Overall, S1 is pretty decent though but the series really shines in S2 and S3. If you watch the entire series and then still claim that the characters are "flat" then you simply have some screws loose, because the main cast is much deeper than the one in horimiya for example. I have rewatched the entire series like 5-6 weeks ago.

Especially in contrast to some of the better romcoms yall have watched lately like bunny senpai and horimiya.. I remember kinda liking it when it first aired. But having not seen it since; all the characters are so flat. And it just does not feel like it's aged well.
