It's interesting to see a show delve into that aspect of things and not take the new commonplace route of "we just need to understand and empathize with each other even though we're different species killing each other in war" both depictions have merit but it's still refreshing to see a true blue beast is a beast enemy in anime or media in general

2024-01-03 23:47:47 +0000 UTCIf you haven't I would strongly recommend taking a look at Yaosobi's official english version of the opening (Brave). It is both translated and sung perfectly, and the animations are way better than the regular opening in the anime.

I think Lady Samantha and Morgan are both correct, it might be a nature vs nurture things along with them not being able to mentally process or comprehend humanity. I can’t wait to learn more about it, it is definitely similar to Demon Slayer, but also it’s own thing. Also Himmel is the best💙💙
