My mind was racing about Nezuko, and whether we were going to have to delve into whether Tanjiro still finds purpose, which maybe could be interesting, but surely the story would still be lesser without her, right? thoughts spinning like crazy. It was cathartic to have the demon's backstory just be like "don't worry, we're not gonna try to make you feel sorry. He's a piece of crap who's constantly been doing bad stuff and always trying to escape blame, and Tanjiro is the one who is going to finally, after all this time, make him accountable." Especially coming off such a heart-wrenching moment with Nezuko and Tanjiro.

2023-06-22 21:11:50 +0000 UTCJust for clarification incase you missed it 😂 Muzan hated the world because he was sick. He just wanted to be cured. He also didnt WANT to turn people into demons, he just did it to see if maybe one of them can evolve into a demon that wont die in the sun so he can eat that demon and stop having to create more. Incase he never found the blue spider lilies which obviously he never found lol That doctor was to be shown as a sketchy doctor because he was giving Muzan experimental medicine. Muzan was basically unwillingly turned into a demon. I personally believe that the doctor was testing out medicine for immortality and Muzan was just his lab rat. The imperfect medicine made Muzan immortal but weak to sunlight. Im assuming the completed medicine would have made Muzan immortal and still be able to be out in the sun, while still probably having to consume flesh and/or blood. If Muzan had waited instead of being an impatient punk, he could have been an immortal who could be out in the sun and he wouldn’t have turned other people into demons because obviously he woulda been happy

The final episode will definitely go into the books for making this season ending among the finest in the series! Props to The React Pact for delivering such an excellent and entertaining stream to one of the best episodes of Demon Slayer ever! P.S.
